  2. Pick “88” potential. The same pick we got from Eagles for Morton and the same pick we gave Tigers for Rodan. Saves face.
  3. Jack Watts. A name many of us will always remember. He was to be our saviour. So much pressure on a kid. He just wanted to play footy. He was always fantastic on supporter days. I remember one year at Luna Park. We chatted to Jack for a few minutes. He really engages with the kids. Gave up his time and a million photos with families and all supporters. Even after all the players had left. The kids loved him. More than half the kids in 2009-10 had the number 4 on their back. He never got the development to take him to the top, and survived through some horrible years. Stayed loyal. Resisted free agency. I think Paul Roos was the coach be needed. Not a Neeld or a Goodwin. His goal on Queens Birthday 2017 will be remembered. 152 games as a Demon. He will always be welcome back as a Demon.
  4. I reckon the mood was low. I know we didn’t make finals and cannot accept mediocrity etc etc and need to be ruthless etc etc but don’t beat yourself up. The footy gods can be tough. The season was crazy and completely disrupted. As we have said there were plenty of positives and positive signs. Whilst we blew our chance with losses to Freo and swans , perhaps 9th is about right. Trac May Viney Langdon Oliver Gawn All showed they are excellent players imo and whilst Gawn ultimately slipped down the B&F, he was playing really well until getting injured. Rivers, Jackson and Kozzzzy showed us they were capable and will get better Salem stepped up a notch and can get better. Hibbo was tough and reliable. Tomlinson serviceable. Sure some downturn in Harmes and Brayshaw but they can get back with the right opportunity and positioning. Sometimes you need to smile. The time for anger and drive is the start of preseason.
  5. Here’s the story of the night. May finished runner up in 2020 B&F. Fantastic year. He should be proud. A true champion bloke and leader. Wants to play his role and get team success.
  6. Hi all Well let’s all congratulate Trac on his first B&F. This is the story of the night. Truly deserved after a big preseason and some maturity. Great talent that I think with the right guidance can keep getting better. In fact still room to dominate like a Danger or Dusty.
  7. My word cannot be printed. Rhymes with stick.
  8. Surely we must reassess Tmac and we should see if anyone offers us a trade or a pick for him. Can’t see him getting back unless he suddenly rediscovers some agility or yard of pace.
  9. Sorry had Lever at 8th. It’s late ?
  10. Top 10 Trac ⭐️ May ⭐️ Viney⭐️ Langdon ⭐️ Oliver ⭐️ Gawn ⭐️ Salem ?? Brayshaw ??? Hibberd ?? Weideman ??? I had Lever in 7th due to playing every game and was certainly improved as the year went on. I guess his 11th placing was a bit low but gives him incentives for 2021. He played every game. Burgo gets a ?? Still scratching my head with Weid though. ?
  11. Tell that little [censored] Sam the sewer rat McClure to crawl back in his hole. I’m really angry by this rubbish
  12. Imagine if Weid has actually played 17 games and had more than 3 good games. Coaches must have big love for him now compared with the start of the year
  13. 1 Petracca 2 May 3 Oliver 4 Gawn 5 Langdon then 6 Viney 7 Salem 8 Lever 9 Salem 10 Fritsch
  14. Absolutely. We gave up goals too easily in the last minute of every game. Last game v bombers, they scored two goals after the siren for qtr time and 3/4 qtr time. Ridiculous.
  15. It’s completely BS. I’d pick May in my team ahead of any of these blokes. Ffs.
  16. I holding firm
  17. It’s a joke. May was clearly the best key defender in the league.
  18. Not even in the squad. What a joke!!! He is better than Jonas, Weitering and Andrews. Seriously had a fantastic year. AFL AA Selectors are a JOKE What games were the selectors watching??? He beat every key forward. Everyone. What more could he have been !?!?!? I’m ANGRY
  19. Anger Sadness Disappointment Frustration I feel this incident has really soured the goodwill and good news factor in Bennell getting back and playing. And how must Steven May be feeling. He backed Harley and urged the Dees to give him a chance. The players supported him to get through. I know it’s going to be a heartbreaking decision. Bennell has ultimately eroded the trust of the club and probably will pay the price. BUT WE MUST REMEMBER THE HUMAN SIDE TO THIS. MENTAL ILLNESS IS RISING AND NO MATTER THE OUTCOME, HARLEY NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO GET THE HELP NEEDED TO SUPPORT HIM.
  20. I’m not calling it a failure year at all. 2019 was a complete failure. 2020 showed what we can deliver but it should be remembered as an inconsistent and crazy year. Hard to gauge and I still believe we got shafted by the fixture. Nonetheless the top 6 are daylight our best for the year. I’d love to see Trac win it and agree Langdon is a smoky. Steven May could surprise as his efforts and strength in every game should be rewarded by the coaches.
  21. Compulsory viewing. Great bloke. He was the legend that got us back into the finals in 87. I’m sure they will show his anger with Stynes after he ran through the mark in the 87 prelim. We perhaps should have got a premiership in his years but somehow missed out.
  22. I’m nominating Fritsch for that SAS AUSTRALIA show. That might be a wake up call for his need for greater intensity and reduce his stress level for goal kicking.
