  2. If you run the competition, you accept the winner. Fjjgkggjv&$&@()&)k any asterisk
  3. The strength to fight the disease. Yes fight mental illness.

Why 16 minutes?? What’s the change to fixtures ?!! surely the change should be no tackling ... bumping only. No tackling and no allowing anyone to run and bounce. Simples!!! Crazy times
  5. Do we have to self isolate on arrival ???
  6. Strong is the show strength. To speak up. Strength to battle on. Not succumb to your mental demons.
  7. How’s the Saints? We have 10 blokes listed including Smith. They have nil. Nil. Geary is listed but is definitely available. That’s some improvement on their 2019 carnage.
  8. Five conferences. A: Eagles and Dockers. Play each other every week. B: Power and Crows. Play each other every week. C : Lions and Suns. Play each other every week. D : Swans and Giants. Play each other every week E : Dees, Pies, Hawks, Bombers, Kangas, Saints, Tigers, Cats, Blues, Bulldogs. Play each other twice. 18 games. No travel. Now that’s lateral thinking ? (it’s a joke)
  9. I can’t see us travelling to WA this week. It’s a tough ask given current concerns.
  10. Any job related to st Kevin’s is tarnished right now. Jennings was always about Jennings and how good he was. I think Goody might be smiling now.
  11. He’s a gun bloke. Stay strong.
  12. Bizarre!!
  13. It’s unprecedented
  14. Two things needed 1- minimum injuries 2- a key forward to kick the big goals when needed (Franklin, Cameron , Lynch, Kennedy). Not sure Tmac or Weid are that man. Hope so.
  15. Why has Nietschke been left off injured listings again. Same as last year. Other teams listed their rookies, cat b injuries even when it’s season ending. I’d like to see us go again at mid year SSP pickup option. There is definitely still some valuable youngsters in state leagues. I think Angus Baker from Canberra NEAFL has definitely AFL standard qualities and determination.
  16. GWS are my tip for the flag. Nothing crazy about that. We have two very tough games to start 2020. We could be 0-2 but don’t panic if we are. Eagles and Giants will probably be top 4 this year.
  17. There is 4 players missing for a while. Nietschke, Bennell, KK, Avb. Preuss is back by round 5-6 whilst others are likely to be available for round 1. Anyone know more on Joel Smith quad injury.
  18. I think HB will be indefinite until he has a good 5-6 weeks of solid running. It is a risk but I feel Goody is a genuine guy who is trying to resurrect Harley and give him every chance. For the good of MFC but importantly for Harley as a young man.
  19. AVB

It’s a curse. I’m not optimistic about the news for The Vandenburger. Hoping for the news that he needs a few weeks off. Also think Joel Smith is cursed and both will be cruelly cut down.
  20. Great insights into the club and the type of “people“ that the coaches and players are. Goody has a great connection. Just need to reflect that’s it’s the footy that counts and the next 26 weeks will determine whether we have built the right foundations for the COMBAT ahead.
  21. Beating the Eagles in Perth in round 1 would be huge !! One of the toughest tasks in footy.
  22. Ran the predictor. I had us as a 14-8 season and I thought that was reasonably optimistic. Percentage 107.2 so a finish in 6th position. I’ll take that as a balanced view.
  23. Casey goalless in first quarters. Hawks kicked 4 goals to 2 in last quarter. 2-12 is not a great start. A lot of young faces at Casey this year.
