  1. Spargo had a great 10 minutes. But aside from that we hardly noticed him. 6 kicks. 2 tackles. He burst the game open so I can see why the love !
  2. Intermittent showers. Sunny. Cloudy. Showers here in Brisbane. Raining again now for past hour after sunny period. 21c. Pleasant for footy. Not cold !!
  3. Preuss will need tommy mcd to relieve in parts. I’d expect Preuss to play about 75% of game time.
  4. Great design. 10/10. Great work Nev.
  5. Brown probably kicked a few but doesn’t seem to get him a game ahead of tommy mcd. He needs to find out how to get Goodys Love !!!
  6. Maynard and Crisp. Sounds like two cops from a 1970s detective series like Starsky and Hutch. They are key players in the Pies backline. They are both in my fantasy footy team and score highly. They are both tough and hard to be beaten. Maynard especially loves the physical stuff. They are very skilled plus they are good at defensive rebounds with their kicking efficiency and metres gained being very high. But one thing is that they always kick in their preferred left boot. They never use their right, indeed like most left footers they’d feather run or baulk to get in their left. Goodwin will need to consider how we score from our midsized forwards. Maynard on Fritsch. Crisp on Melksham. I’d love to see Vandenburg used on Crisp (or Maynard) as a defensive type forward to stop his 20 possessions and high rebound game.
  7. Raining here in Brisbane. Expected thunderstorms at midday. Wet weather footy coming up !!!
  8. Maybe play Essendon v Melbourne on Mars!
  9. Yes get this to the media. It’s absolutely ridiculous that it’s so uneven AGAIN !!
  10. Clearly PIES AND SAINTS are also given preferred treatment. Not the Dees. We are the kings of travel in 2020
  11. Dees again on the road. Ffs. Saints have been to nowhere by comparison. 1-OPTUS STADIUM PERTH 2-MARVEL 3- bye 4- MCG 5- MCG 6- SYDNEY SHOWGROUNDS Blacktown 7- SYDNEY SHOWGROUNDS, Blacktown 8- Metricon 9- Gabba 10- ADELAIDE OVAL 11- ADELAIDE OVAL 12- Gabba 13- Metricon 14- Alice Springs 15- Cairns 16- Cairns 17- Gabba 18 - tbc 9 different venues so far.
  12. We love Kozzzzzzy. You beauty! He is a ripper.
  13. I hope Preuss is ready to come off the chain. He is a physical guy. I’m not after 20 possessions. In his scope , I want Preuss to compete and be physical within the rules.
  14. Covid brain. Yes that’s a common occurrence right now. THIS STORY SHOWS NEVER PAY $3000 TO SOMEONE YOU DONT KNOW. Wow. That’s a big miss by Leo but understand as a father how the kids pressure you.
  15. It was absolute magic. Gotta love Kozzzzzzzzzy !!!
  16. Option 1 Preuss in Preuss in the ruck tmcd and Weid as key forwards Option 2 Brown in Tmcd in the ruck Brown and Weid as key forwards Option 3 Brown and Preuss in tmcd out Preuss in the ruck Brown and Weid as key forwards it’s going to be wet so Preuss must be in. Physical contest. He’ll hit Grundy HARD
  17. Ffs. Jackson injured and out 3-4 weeks. Farrrrrrrrrrrrrk
  18. Release the beast. It’s time for Preuss imo. I think Gawn will miss and needs a 2 week break. Perhaps back for the Dogs challenge.
  19. Yes as posted many times previously, his health now is the primary concern. I think he will continue to work away from any contact. Running and strength work only. MFC will do it’s best and it’s likely he will retire at end of 2020 in agreement with the club medical team. I think the club and the AFL need to be so careful with players showing constant and repetitive concussions. Brain injury is a serious lifelong debilitating condition on some of these young guys.
  20. Pressure points is good. Getting the footy and effective kicking is better
  21. Ffs. Can’t Pendlebury have a few more days off
  22. Wing position. Jack Carroll (WA). Saw him at last year’s championship. Hoping he stays under the radar. Should be available around pick 20. Nick Stevens is a country lad from Ballarat Rebels who is good mover with skills and footy smarts. Saw him in the Geelong Grammar v Melbourne Grammar game last year and he was a standout. Could be available around pick 30 Joshua Clarke. Played in last years U18s GF for Eastern. Good pace and skills on both sides. Skinny but classic runner. Likely pick 45-50.
  23. Patrick Walker impresses last year and to see him playing good footy again in 2020. One to consider around a pick 50 if we have one available. Excellent skills and good mover. Like Trent Rivers in style.
