2020 Demons Goal of the Year
I agree Trac’s best this year are awesome. v GWS - the pickup on the run and kick from 45 metres on a tight angle v Kangas - the spoil, the run and burst and kick from 55 metres v Blues - Huge goal, contested mark v Newnes on 60 metres out and to burst clear and kick it from 55 out v Hawks - contested mark v Sicily and then the goal from 50 metres out v Saints 1. the match winning goal beating 3 Saints and kicking it whilst being held. 2. The first goal from 55 metres out

The Paddy Dangerfield Thread
Fumbled tonight. No real influence.

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
yes Oliver kicked a beauty v Kangas. Last minute goal. Banana from the pocket but less exciting as we were already 9 goals up and no crowd.

Will Petracca Feel Brownlow Love?
Ben Gibson is a star. Very good Brownlow preview on the MFC website.

2020 Demons Mark of the Year
Remember the days when we had sensational marks and a few winners of the Mark of the Year. Great marking especially by Schwartz and Shaun Smith and Jeff Farmer and Robbo and Liam Jurrah and Jeremy Howe. Even in 2019 we had Bailey Fritsch taking a screamer to get our Dees mark of the year. But in 2020 there was no nomination for any Dees player from the 17 games. In fact I cannot remember any special marks or courageous marks this year. Any nominations?

2020 Demons Goal of the Year Christian Petracca. Round 11 v Kangas

Finals: Week 3
Ken Hinkley. Great post game media conference. Disappointed but calm and still positive.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Laughing even more now.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Agree Titan. Let’s keep laughing at the suggestion he is a forward.

Trade Targets
Yes he was definitely the type we needed and was highly recommended at the 2017 draft. We got Lever for the two 1st rounders in 2017 and 2018 so missed on Bailey in 2017. He is quietly becoming a very good player and his pace is valuable for the Lions. ?

Trade Targets
Exactly. I’m smelling a stitch up

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
I’m still on the fence. Brown has huge talent and I think the potential to be a huge asset. But I feel he’s fragile. Kangas obviously know something. Why let him go ??

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Just a reminder. Walks into our best 22

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Get him in. It’s a perfect match. Suits our needs. Instantly makes us a better team. We need to screw over the pies on the deal. Phillips for a pick in the 40s.

Neville Jetta
Nev is a gun. Love him. Courage. Loyalty. Gives 100% and more !! Mentor to the young indigenous boys. Helps Steven May. Always great for a chat. I will hate to see him in black and white. Hate it. Footy is so cruel. But I respect Nev and his wishes. If he goes, he will be welcome back anytime.

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
Trac kicked 15 goals for the year. About 9 were sensational!!!!
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Tom Phillips or Isaac Smith. Really!! Phillips every day of the week. 8 years younger and has been a top performer in 2018 and 2019. He’s not deteriorating.
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Just another reminder He would walk in to our best 22 on the wing

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Has all the makings of an excellent mid sized forward. Good mark. Good kick. Good pace. Kicks goals. But goes missing and sometimes tries to our mark key position teammates and opponents when he should be crumbing or presenting short option. Hard to see him commanding a position but rotated in and out of the team with Fritta, Vandenburg, Melksham, ANB getting first crack.

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Get him in

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
Another Trac Nomination. (#6) I remember another excellent long range Trac goal v Suns in Round 6. Two minutes left and we were 5 points up. Oliver was actually composed and found Trac 50 metres out. Trac kicks it 60 metres straight through the middle and into the stand. Seals the game.
