WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Wow. He showed big signs. Good to see he went into the ruck to relieve Max once we had the game out to 5-6 goal lead. Sure he fumbled a few but he will get more confident. I think overall his agility and second efforts were excellent. Great to see the excitement when he got his first goal.

24c. Sunshine. Welcome to Queensland. I guess itās also out of Quarantine status after spending 2 weeks in NSW.
- Will the real Angus Brayshaw please stand up?

Will Petracca Feel Brownlow Love?
Might be jumping the gun to say #1 but Petracca is in excellent form. His kick to Weideman from 50 to pinpoint him in the square was elite. His running and power were a great combination. He was in contests and would burst clear. Dangerfield like confidence right now.He outmatches Sicily who has had a great year himself but looked 2nd rate v Trac. Then Tracs goal from just outside 50. Wow. Trac needs to continue being smart. Mitch Robinson gets him in the tag this week and heās taken some scalps. Tracs teammates will need to watch out for him. Trac still needs to back up from the man on the mark a little more. But otherwise a very A grade level right now. 8 Brownlow votes so far imo.

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
Omcd - I might rethink Petracca - Brownlow medal form

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Good to see another week of us struggling to consider changes. Cooling - AVDburger, Melksham. Brayshaw was ok. Lockhart did what he had to do. Sure Tmcd probably comes in so itās between AVB and Melksham for me. AVB disposals were generally poor but tackling and pressure are pluses. Melksham didnāt involve himself in the contest but his goalkicking ability is always handy.

Goodwin shows some emotion...finally
Yes selections making a difference. Get Weideman in. Get Bennell in. Get Vandenburg in. Also the media criticism was definitely noted. We are not in the red zone so much.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
I love it. Kozzzzzzzzzy Pickett is so exciting. His pressure. His dancing feet. His energy. My kids love him already. Yes Weightman is a talented junior and would have been good pick but Kozzzzzy is the one. Such amazing talent.

Demonland Player of the Year - Rd 07
6 Petracca. A sensational game. Heās becoming the elite player we think he can become. 5 Gawn. A champion. Big and strong and agile. Great leadership 4 Viney. Tough as nails. Getting smarter with use of the footy. Shutting up the critics 3. Oliver. Just see how a split second extra thinking time helps his game. A contested beast. 2 Langdon. Run run and run. Smart use and kicks long ball as needed. 1. May. Love his composure and ball use. Great general in the backline. Apologies to Weideman. We shouted for his inclusion and hallelujah. Recruits Bennell, Jackson and Pickett were excellent.

The official I love Dom Tyson thread
Yes he showed real class and potential but just couldnāt elevate his skill and pace around the footy. Disappointing. He was injured with Roos last year and calf injury this year. They are getting as much value from Tyson as we are getting from Preuss.

What happens to the draft in 2020
Yes very compromised draft. If the Dees get picks in 30 and 40s then still some value. Was hoping Dumesny might fly under the radar but playing excellent senior footy and very good composure with the footy

What happens to the draft in 2020
Cal Twomey has given his top 25. About 8 are already claimed under the zone, NGA or father son. Thereās another 20 that Iād rate highly so maybe thereās a diamond or two for the Dees. I think clubs will face reduced lists so maybe 2-3 picks only for most clubs.

Dees on Brink of Another Trade Disaster
Pick 6 traded to Suns for May, kk and Bennell. Iād through in the curve ball. May got Bennell yo the Dees. Letās evaluate the trade including HB joining us. Sure Ben King has massive potential but Iāll wait a bit longer for the final judgement on this trade.

TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Yes Brown was the spare wheel. Now he must be feeling like a blown out tyre !!! The 2 key forwards worked well. Iām hoping Tomlinson gets a crack at CHF.

Yes likely to min 6 weeks in QLD. Any indication of location? Assume Gold Coast given scale of resorts and availability.

Injury List 2020
Tmcd out as a precaution imo. Heād play if it was a final or GF. Probably good to be cautious especially with block of games coming up.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Agree 100%. Mitch Brown must come in this week. Play as mobile CHF. Actually be handy given Hawks use Sicily as CHB and rebound defender. Need to make him accountable.
