Adam Cerra
I'm sure he's on healthy money, but i don't wanna speculate on what that is, he's doing everything he's asked to do to earn it so he's fine regardless of what he's on

Adam Cerra
Why on earth would we trade Gus? Cerra is a good player but 750k!? we need to use F/A to round out the edges on our list so we can go for back to back flags. NO SELLING THE FARM

Brownlow tipping. 1,2,3 and club best total.
I'm going to go with a surprise option 1. Zach Merrett 2. Marcus Bontempelli 3. Ollie Wines

Teague Sacked
I rate their list, but it's the stuff going on outside that. how could anyone actually take a job there as senior coach after seeing this? Ross Lyon still has some appeal in the industry, don't blow it on this mob.

Jack Gunston
Good player, still playing good footy when on the park. premiership experience, proven leader, Love it, straight swap for Sam Weideman, Hawks get a young developing key forward, we get an experienced Vet to help us now.

What they're saying down at Vulture Street
If we're at our best i don't think they're good enough to beat us, bring the pressure and the heat. lately we've been doing it for patches of games and that's been enough to pile on goals, apart from the Gold Coast where the 2012 Mark Neeld Dees probably would have beaten them that day. Midfield battle will be key, if we break even or better, i think we win by 4-5 goals. May gave Daniher a bath last time, i'd expect Petty should cover McStay and Lever should get a small or a lesser match up which suits him.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
I'd prefer to keep him, however i do see potential if a team did want him that our 2022 first rounder and Weid might be able to get us back into the first round of this years draft, i think it'd be smart for us to continue to build and add to our young core, great that we're a chance at a flag but i'm greedy and want to see us win 3-4

FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
Watching the replay of our last game against the Lions and it's such a similar game to the Cats game, we didn't finish our work and our pressure was a bit off and they got on top, we clicked back into our footy and we absolutely pulled their pants down. it shows that our best is THE best They definitely tried to isolate our defenders 1v1 which worked in the first half because our work rate and pressure was down and they had a fraction of extra time and space, in the second the pressure forced more high kicks and we won the battles in the air, even with Hipwood down there. they worked hard to make sure Salem got no time and space, knowing he's our quarterback, i suspect they'll go again with this and we will try the same thing with Rich Oscar McInerney was good enough to stop Gawn getting clean hit outs, but Gawn clearly has him around the ground, and our mids seemed to get the better of the chaos ball when Jackson is in there, what i love about him is he's so different to Gawn, he doesn't seem to have any real purpose beyond just getting his hand to the ball, and our players just react to it. when it's Gawn both sides are just watching his palm and it ends up with a bees to the honeypot situation. I think if we are going okay in the middle we can afford to send Petracca forward because Starcavic will have his hands full with Fritsch, so they won't have a good match up when he's down there Everything starts with Neale, like Libba if we can contain him, we can take away their engine room

CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
Could you rotate Bowey through the wing Dazzle? i really love his composure and think that could be important in a big final,
-
CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
I'd go slightly differently to be honest, I'd bring in Jordan or send Viney to body up Neale at stoppages, Harmes to McLuggage to not allow him time and space, and i agree on a Melksham/Fritsch doing a defensive job on RIch, Starcavic will try and blanket Fritsch i'd imagine, but if he can get one on one Fritta might be able to get him in the air

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
There is a very real possibility that Weid just doesn't attract the sort of interest that would make leaving an attractive option.

FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
I think any team that plays against Harris Andrews goes in with the plan being pretty simple, which helps and it's literally don't let him mark the ball. If he plays on McDonald i imagine Tom will try and pull him away from the danger zones or at least compete really strongly in the air and bring it to ground. I don't think Andews has been at his absolute best either which does help.

FINALS: QF vs Brisbane
Anyone else got the feeling that Kozzie might have Byrons "big game gene" and absolutely rip a final to shreds? i could see the little fella going nuts and kicking 6
-
CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
I think some consideration should be given to a Jordan-Sparrow swap, i think Jordan is our best tackler, and when he's in the side it's something i really notice, i think we're a better side with him in there, definitely missing Hunts run, and happy to swap him and Smith. I'd be picking Melksham or Jones as Sub, i think having an experienced Sub is going to be really handy in finals because it's effectively another coach, another experienced head on the bench and someone ready to go right away. coming into a big final half way through if the game is really hot could be a tough adjustment for a young player imv

Brownlow Vibes...
I think it's really hard for teams that have multiple heavily polling players to produce a winner, which is why i think the winner will be Ollie Wines, but i also think Zach Merrett has had a VERY good season and could be top 3
-
Trade Targets
From what i've heard it's not so much Yeo wanting out of Meth Coast, and it's more Meth Coast having a look at what senior players have some currancy to start a re-build
-
CHANGES: QF vs Brisbane
It 100% favors us, Brisbanes revival has been based on slick ball movement and high scoring, it suits us down to the ground if it rains. i think we will win either way though
-
Finals Predictions
Lets hope so given everything he's ever posted has been wrong, it would just about guarantee us the flag
-
Finals Predictions
Get the feeling the Lions are the most in form team in it at the moment, Cats last 3 they're 1-3 and only fell over the line against the Saints, we're 4-0 and in good shape injury wise and should beat the Lions but i see them as our biggest threat. I think we can feel confident against anyone else

The 2021 All-Australian Team
Goody has got to be coach of the year doesn't he? a team most predicted to win finals finishing with what 17 wins, minor premiership I'd also nearly pick Max as the AA Captain to be honest, i'd say it's him or Bont
-
The 2021 All-Australian Team
Could be a few Dees in the team. Max, Clarry, Petracca, Lever all just about certain Fritsch, Langdon, Salem, May and co all huge chances as well

TEAMS: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Not too sure on the inclusion of Smith? guessing they have a very specific role in mind for him, but i personally would be going Hibberd, i feel like we've potentially lost a little bit of our rebound through that selection, and given how important it's been for us, i hope whatever they have in mind for Smith helps us.

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
The Tactics of Geelong this weekend will be really interesting because they'd know that Tom Stewart being out is going to present a problem, and they'd also know Max and Jacko are going to dominate them as they basically always do in the ruck and around the ground, i reckon they'll try and turn it into an in tight arm wrestle and make it really hard for both teams to score. it'll be really interesting to see how Chris Scott, imo one of the best game day coaches in a long time, approaches cracking our defense with some really important players missing from their side

Angus Brayshaw
Brayshaw is having a very good year based on the role he's been asked to play.

Trade Targets
I look at the Eagles and see a team that's right on the edge of a re-build, i hope we're having a look at any Vic boys over there who might be keen to come home. i'm sure they've got a couple.
