POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Brayshaws 2018 form is the only thing keeping him in the side at the moment. I'd much rather Alex Neal-Bullen. at least he has a crack. really think we missed Tom mcDonald today.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Ironic that a few minutes early Zac Bailey went about 7 moments too long in giving the ball back and it wasn't called.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
2 things cost us this game Goalkicking/polish some of the worst/most bias umpiring i've ever seen.

What they're saying down at Glenferrie Road
I think there is a very good possibility Clarkson will leave the Hawks potentially at the end of this year, things are seemingly pretty hostile at the moment with Kennett being himself. I wouldn't rule out another team poaching him, one of the greatest coaches of all time, can't see him being willingly nudged into retirement. Would be very ballsy if the Dees made the move and pulled the trigger. i love the thought of what Clarko could do with this list

Where's Richo?
His role was to microwave the popcorn and sit back while Mark Neeld destroyed the club.

When we beat Brisbane, I will....
Probably throw a wrench at a fat bloke i am teaching to play dodgeball.

MFC Trade Talk 2020
Tom Hawkins is a Free agent i believe and the Cats may look to go down the youth path, maybe he's someone we could look at? would certainly help accelerate the development of Weid and give Tommy some support.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Like the Jones inclusion simply because the more good kicks we have in the side the better off we are IMO starting to build a decent list of guys who can take on tough kicks and really open up the game

What they're saying down at Stanley Street
they're pretty much on the money. if Gawn and Jackson dominate as much as they should and we don't just bomb the ball long and high to Harris Andrews we're a big chance. pretty simple. Win it in the middle. Lower your eyes.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Probably do Tommy some good to get down into a scratch match and just clunk a few. i get the impression he's felt the pressure to be the spearhead and now he can kinda see he's not even a lock for the best 22 i feel like a return to his best form won't be too far away.

Tom Papley? would be hard to find a good deal for Sydney but he'd be more than handy.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
I think harmes is the one, he's a very good stopper but has proven he's capable of hurting the other way. not sure what Neale is like as a defensive runner but the Freo boys aren't exactly known for that sort of thing. personally i would be tempted to tag Zorko because i think he's the one you can totally take out of the game and then back our midfield vs theirs especially given Max and Jacko should have a field day against Oscar Mcinerney

MFC Trade Talk 2020
I'd be throwing every cent we have at Ben King. other than that Zac WIlliams would be a brilliant pick up and replacement for Hibberd Rory Laird but i feel the price would be a bit high. Zac Fisher at the Blues has pace and skill and seemingly on the outer. could be a budget pick up. I'd be having a good look at the Giants. feel a few could drop out there

What has happened to Clayton Oliver?
I'd put Petracca on Neale and back him to do more damage. Neale won't be able to go with petracca in the air around the ground. love a good head to head

What has happened to Clayton Oliver?
Seriously? the 23 year old who's already had a top 10 brownlow finish, All Australian, won 1 or 2 best and fairests? can't remember and some podium finishes to go with it he's going fine. the scary thing is, he and Petracca will both improve.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
I'd guess Brayshaw does a soft tag on McCluggage, maybe they back others to come accross and support vs Raynor

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
I'm a little unsure about how to contain the Lions backline. Nev to Cameron seems the obvious one. the talls are easy enough to figure out. but not sure who plays on Raynor. feel like Hibberd won't be good enough one on one

Will the real Angus Brayshaw please stand up?
We have too many inside bulls and sadly Gus is paying the price. he's effectively being played out of position and his weaknesses are on show for everyone. he's exactly the type of bloke who goes to another club for more opportunities and dominates and everyone says, why did you let him go. I think the best thing for Gus is to move on to another club, i like him and rate him but he's behind Petracca, Oliver and Viney, and probably neck in neck with Harmes for the position that suits him. and he's only bang average on a wing. the other thing to consider is the reduced quarters in 2020 means less rotation of star players so the blokes mentioned above aren't needing to rotate quite as much so less sustained opportunity at the bounce for Gus as a result

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
I'd be giving Tmac a scratch match to find some form before bringing him in. only change i'd consider is a replacement for Lockart. not sold he's AFL standard. if we could get Nathan Jones in for him i think that's a good result.
