Absolutely, the kid ( if developed correctly ) will be a great player, certainly won't be jumping up and down if he comes to us at the end of the year.

I still think the last two games would have really hurt his chances, remember one of the key criteria is the ability to sell hope to the supporters, pretty hard to do that when North have just pumped you by 20 goals and GWS beat you easily.

I think we can take anyone who nominates for the draft, we wouldn't waste a pick on someone who doesn't want to play for us though.

Not sure he's the type of player we're really after mate, their first round pick would get us Sheed or Crouch which would be a huge step in the right direction for us.

They have plenty of running types, if we took boyd at pick 1 maybe we could trade Watts and Fitz to them and get their first round pick and a player in return?

In all honesty i'm not a big fan of it, but right now there are players putting talks on hold, team can't win a game against GWS and noone really knows if the club will be around in five years time so we probably need it. In all honesty i think losing Tom Scully killed us, we won 8 games that year, finally looked like we were on the rise, take out the 186 of course and it was a good year, we were a sneaky shot at finals.

if we are getting pick 1 & 2 we should think about using 2 on scharenberg instead of Aish, infact if Choco is coach i would almost bet we do that.

I'd rather make him go into the draft and see him end up at GWS than accept a second round pick, the pies made us give up 20 for dawes, surely Watts is a much better prospect than him, maybe we include steak knives and get their first round pick? although i don't believe for a second this is a done deal, last week PJ said he would be surprised if Watts wasn't a demon next year, both parties obviously believe they're a chance.

I remember at the anthem he stood there with his arms crossed like he wasn't taking us seriously, my mother who was a Bombers supporter commented about how disrespectful that was. -
I think he would probably develop a new game plan based around the strengths of our list.
