There'll be great opportunities for young players to live up to the expectations of the team and of the club Alan Richardson this alone makes me think Stkilda are in for a long couple of years, they will make the same mistakes we have if they expect Billings and Dunstan to win them games of football.

Sam Blease career average disposals is 11.. he has been around a few years and never really managed to cement a spot Toumpas has had a fantastic pre season, looks hungry and determined to do what Blease hasn't managed to do.

I can't see any other decision to sack Hird, while it would create another distraction for the club and players i can't see how they can move forward with him, as long as James Hird is coach i feel people will view the bombers as cheats i hope Bomber doesn't keep going after this year and Neil Craig inherits a good list, he deserves another crack at senior coaching i have no doubt if we didn't get Roosy he'd be our coach.

I just saw the club is meeting to discuss James Hird's future, reckon he might be a bit upset with his wife just now.

Roo would need to have a day out for us to lose, and i reckon Chip and Mcdonald will make that very difficult.

I love how he is a genuine bloke, loves a beer, doesn't take it all too seriously, but is a gun on the field and gives it his all, never seen a bloke be so embraced by the supporters of a team so quickly.
