  1. Word is a few of the pies blokes aren't feeling great with the flu, some pulled out but some are playing! pretty handy.
  2. Petracca simply has to play next week, he's way to good for VFL
  3. I can confirm this, there are 14 teeth in the entire collingwood membership base and a shocking 9% employment.
  4. Must win game for the club, if we want 10 plus wins we simply have to find a way to win today
  5. The most annoying thing for me is the contrast in treatment of clubs, we were denied a priority pick because we were found not guilty of tanking, despite 33 wins in 7 years and most against expansions sides and coming off arguably the worst year of all time and players leaving left right and centre. But EFC are found guilty of drug cheating, send the integrity of the game into shambles and the AFL is systematically rigging the system to ensure they're back up the ladder ASAP because it's all about money to them, the sport is corrupt and it's becoming obvious, in a year where imo they should get draft picks they could easily get at least 2 top 5 picks, if not more. the only reason they're keeping compo picks is because Hooker and Hurley look like leaving, i don't care what rubbish justification they come up with, it was set to be scrapped.
  6. Agreed, did a couple of nice things but i don't think he's picked up the pace of the game yet.
  7. Dale thomas isn't even a shadow of the player he used to be, seems to have lost a heap of leg speed and his kicking is terrible, wouldn't look out of place at the dees.
  8. Mark Neeld tried to do the same thing to Jack Trengove and i remember thinking the same thing, if someone shows a heap of promise, keep them in that position, it'd be like us deciding to play Clayton oliver off half back.
  9. Why is Patty Cripps hardly being used as an inside mid, he seems to be playing as a high half forward, he's way to good a mid to not be right in the middle.
  10. Clayton oliver 65% game tome = 26 touches and 2 goals. when this kid is playing 85-90% he is going to be scary good
  11. Lets also not forget that only a very short time ago Jesse was in the middle of talks about a long term extension, only a few weeks ago he said " anyone playing forward of this midfield would be silly to want to leave " and i tend to believe him when he says that. The big trump card in these situations is often the money, another club has offered that player a crazy amount to convince them, i doubt there is a club in the comp that we couldn't match though so it's all a bit strange. He's invested in the club, he's training hard and for now he's honoring his contract, i'm fairly happy so long as he's doing that, if he leaves we'll get amazing compensation of at least 1 A grade player and a really good pick. and if he stays it'll be long term and we won't have to worry about this for an extended period
  12. I'd suggest not for long if he gets told something and goes running his mouth about it on twitter, that doesn't help anyone, especially Jesse. It's different because Woosha at the time had gone from not wanting to coach at all, to working at the crows and started to get some passion back, Hird right in the firing line, it wasn't a huge stretch Jesse on the other hand, the public message we're getting is nothing but loyalty to the MFC, for him to leave would be a backflip on that, making it a very different situation, his manager said not that long again that Jesse is loyal to the MFC and now his " mate " is saying his next contract will be in Perth.
  13. I remember that and i strongly believe that was a guess. and far far different to this situation
  14. I am still firmly of the belief he won't leave Melbourne, but i can understand there is a bit of a pull home, especially at the moment. but lets say it's true.. we should trade him this year, and welcome Lachie Neale, Chris Mayne and a first rounder to the club.
  15. The thing about these sorts of guys is that someone like Lynden Dunn or Tmac or even H is going to be far more experienced, he might take a mark but they'll be instructed to run off and attack because he will be exposed.
  16. It's shocking that he has just finished up in court trying to save his reputation and now he's gone and just admitted to being totally guilty of everything and more.
  17. Didn't sound like they had much, besides Dank's word and that's worth less than nothing, though Barrett claimed to have seen some forms or something
  18. Dank failed in his defamation cases so now he's just showing the world that he really is a [censored].
  19. He said he can't be certain he'll be at Essendrug next year, when a good player says that you might as well be declaring open season and Windy Hill firing up the air raid sirens because they could legitimately lose Heppell, Hurley and Hooker and go into the draft with picks 1,2,3 and 4 the last report i saw stated that Hooker had been offered 900k by Freo, 750k by Hawks and the Roos were in the process of putting a good offer together as well.
  20. You have to imagine the person with no teeth and being interviews from the centrelink line to get the full effect.
  21. We have a great opportunity to get on a roll and win 3-4 games in a row now. really should be 3-0 already
  22. These injuries happen all the time, not many players get through a career without at least one medium to long term injury, it really isn't the end of the world, though it is a shame when the best players aren't out there playing. Teams these days are so good at covering the loss of players, as good as Bob is, it doesn't stop the Bulldogs being a top 4-6 side imo
  23. I thought exactly the same thing, it does explain a lot though.
