  1. That's exactly why that decision was made last year, clearly it was felt that We needed a young foil for Hogan and Weideman was more talented than any of the key talls in this years draft, personally very happy with the outcome there.
  2. I think he has some ability but it really depends what we'd have to give up, if it were a swap for a third round pick i'd probably look at it.
  3. Guess it would depend on the crowd they think they're gunna get if it's at the G i'd back us to beat them in a final
  4. If we beat the Cats and book 8th spot, very strong chance our first final would be at Skilled against Geelong again
  5. I really think Jack doesn't get talked up as much as he deserved, i personally think he's every bit as good as the Bont, Cripps or any young mid in the comp,
  6. Will recieve 17 large offers
  7. Just does exactly what the coaches tell him to do, doesn't sook if he gets dropped just goes back, works on what he's told and it reflects in his game. he's our Issac Smith
  8. I think we'll see Goody turn over the coaching group a little bit when he comes in, personally think Rawlings might well move on anyway, he's been around a while and wants a senior role. Maybe Goody could get someone like his old mate Bassett in as a backline coach? I also think they'll target another experienced coach to replace Roosy, with Macca going to keep focusing on the development programs and so on.
  9. I really like Jayden Hunt and i think even if those three were all in and in form he'd still be in the side.
  10. Give him a week to think about it, every team in the comp knows he has a short fuse and if he doesn't learn to deal with players winding him up he will miss a few weeks to come.
  11. I liken the ducking to staging, a deliberate action to draw a free kick, i personally think it should be a free kick against the player who did it and every time a bloke ducks down the player should drive them into the ground hard and make them earn it
  12. What a pick this bloke is proving to be!
  13. They did the same thing with Lynch last year and him basically saying he was coming to the dees caused them to cough up a better deal, the crows will pay what they need to to keep JJ
  14. Hahaha thanks for reminding me of that! hilarious!
  15. Jack is currently winning the herald sun player of the year. and my respect for him has gone to a whole new level, threw an All Australian defender to the ground like a sack of [censored] to show him what a little [censored] he is. I am disgusted by the Sympathy Rance is getting, it was a dog act, needs to be totally gone from the game.
  16. Which is why i'd be shocked if Viney was even fined for his reaction, like you said it's very dangerous and totally out of line, he deserves a 5-6 week ban for that, but because it's Alex Rance and the AFL is soft it will be one week if that.
  17. at the end of 2015 i spoke to an opposition player who is a good family friend who was targeted by the MFC, the trade didn't end up eventuating but it was amazing the way our clubs image has changed to opposition clubs, no teams go into a game against the MFC anymore taking it lightly, if we played Hawthorn next weekend we'd back ourselves to win.
  18. North are rubbish, flat track bullies who will again not make the grand final, they have had an easy draw and might well be gifted a top 4 spot but that's where it stops, they're not top 4 standard, barely top 8 standard and if Goldstein gets injured they won't even be that.
  19. Wagner O Mac Hunt Salem Tmac Trengove VDB Brayshaw Tyson Watts Hogan Petracca Kent Weiderman JKH Gawn Viney Oliver M.King Frost Stretch ANB Would go alright i reckon.
  20. It also shows that age is no barrier, with the right plans and a couple of decent leaders being young doesn't mean you can't play good footy.
  21. I thought that was one of the sillier things i've ever seen, totally disrespectful to the field umpire who clearly called touched.
  22. The word i've been hearing on this is his manager feels his value in the Market based on age, current form and scope for improvement is quite a lot higher then what Adelaide are willing to/ able to offer. I think he's gettable if a club is willing to offer around the same as what Dawes is on, possibly a little more and give up a first round pick. Personally i think he'd be a fantastic pick for us, he's good enough to make an impact and take pressure off Jesse right now, and will continue to develop into the future and as Weiderman develops he could become an extremely dangerous third forward/ ruck. and if Jesse does happen to leave a combination of Jenkins/ Watts/ Weiderman i think would prove more than handy.
  23. i was huge on Parish and still firmly believe he'll be a very good player but my god, Oliver is something else!
  24. Gus Brayshaw and Hogan last year, Oliver and Petracca and even Weeds at some point should have an impact this year good signs
  25. he was well held after half time but some very important clearances, i personally feel 23 touches, 15 contested and 7 clearances or whatever it was should get him right in the mix for the rising star nod
