One thing that bugs me is the hype around Kelly, watching him I never felt he was that exciting, he wasn't clearly better than Salem or Freemans best, I still feel Scharenberg or KoloJashni were better prospects as well liked the look of Aish but felt he was too much like Toumpas

I was told we did the deal knowing the player we wanted at 2 was a good chance to be there at 9 and we'd essentially get Tyson for free, at the time I believed it was Nathan Freeman, but I am absolutely delighted with what Salem has bought to the side, My girlfriends uncle kind of works loosely with the club in talent identification, he calls mfc, if he thinks a player is worth having a look at and he said he rated Salem and Kelly neck in neck as the two best mids in the draft but conceded he had only seen the vic boys live, didn't get to see Aish or Scharenberg too much

it's downright scary that this kid has only played 24 games, add another 76 to that and I reckon we are looking at potentially the best mid in the comp, and Viney might well not be far behind him

I think the initial thinking was we would get 2 good players for 1 great player potentially but I am of the opinion Tyson will be at least as good as Kelly and Salem could well reach that level also so it's got the potential to be a massive win for us.

I'm all for brayshaw, he has some issues with decision making but those can be fixed he has a tendancy to kick it long and ignore hit up opimtions a little If chip leaves I'd probably look to trade that compo pick plenty of sides would be keen to get early picks in this draft

He has alot in common with Nat Fyfe in a way, great turn of acceleration, good height, natural footballer
