This isn't to say he doesn't need to improve or some aspects of his game arent frustrating, clearly what you mean is they think he is worth persisting with, despite some frustrations from supporters which are probably fair enough in some cases. I think saty sometimes you ignore what are fair criticisms of players by being a bit to bias. Oscar is young and will be good but is clearly not perfect

Certainly but I think the suspension had as much to do with bernies record as it did the action. for me that action warrants a fine at worst if no other factors come into play. Bottom line is a leader should not be doing that rubbish. Now he misses a game for it.

we don't second guess anything now, it's all instinct, they don't hesitate they just take the kick into the corridor and it opens the game right up, yes sometimes we stuff up and look silly but it allows us to score around the 120 mark each game and if our defence is good it puts us right in the range to be a finals chance

While I understand the concern we showed two things against the saints that I haven't seen in years maturity and leadership, in the past we would have lost that game by 5 goals but Jones, Vince, Lewis, gawn, McDonald and Oliver stood up when the heat was on and Jesse hogan is just reaching the level of scary good very quickly
-
I am extremely confident he will be fine! So much of his best work is In tight anyways and if they tag him it leaves Viney jones and Lewis on their own which seems dangerous amazing to think dom Tyson who I seriously rate is probably 5th or 6th in line in our mids now.

Get the feeling the giants are believing their own hype, the crows are working so much harder but not finishing off their work

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Ted Lasso replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
People forget that these guys cheated. They aren't innocent victims, if they had any evidence at all they could have proved their innocence, they didn't even keep their own personal records. I hate this returning hero mentality, no one should be celebrated for doing the wrong thing -
What I think goes unnoticed about clarry a bit given his grunt and amazing quick hands is his ball use, went at 88% and opened the game right up multiple times. Hes a beast on the inside but looks capable of doing serious damage on the outside.

THE DROUGHT IS OVER by George on the Outer - POST MATCH DISCUSSION
Ted Lasso replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I can't think of a better individual performance by a second year player in years, Oliver is a freak! I thought brayshaw looked great when he was in the middle as well -
would be pretty surprised if this was more than a fine
-
I reckon Vince gets a fine, low impact and reckless smith goes out, Tyson comes in

This is gross, our two best key backs are probably the two most unskillful players in the comp. won't win a flag with that being the case
-
Oh I didn't realise he was playing, sorry
-
I actually think the change helps them! Bit worried we don't have Jetta to help cover the mozzie fleet

A "Ryan okeefe" type player hahhahaha -
Surely watts plays. His foot skills are desperately needed for this game

While I agree, our memberships, wins and excitement have been consistently rising so I think it's equally about finding the right partner who will be with us long term, I am sure they'd have options but want the right one
-
I think we got hurt by it not because it's a bad plan but because we made mistakes and didn't win the ball. Dogs and giants are very good at doing the same thing
-
I think the biggest two factors to beating the saints are 1.outnumbering and winning the contest 2. Don't turn the ball over because they will cut us to ribbons if we do
-
What I really like is that despite some off field issues at the start of pre season Oliver is now in tipping condition and looks set for a really good year
-
I agree but I think what you're talking about might be a technical issue for Liam, you want the intensity with as little risk as possible, jack Viney certainly doesn't seem to take it easy on anyone at training so it's a balanace
-
Good! Train as you play! Can't ask the opposition to take it easy
