  1. I think they'll want a pick and a player. And I doubt we'll be keen to ship off both first rounders 2017 second rounder, 2018 first rounder and Alex Neal bullen
  2. Apparently he met with Goody, Todd Viney, Nathan Jones and Jack Viney and we've made a pretty strong pitch. I don't get the sense this is even close to over the line but lots of people are saying our offer is as good or better than any other on the table.

I personally think Zach Merrett will be right up the pointy end as well.

Clarry might poll a lot better than the media think, kids ultra consistent
  5. If we make a godfather offer to someone tom lynch from the suns would be a good target at the end of next year
  6. Olivers consistency gives him a toe chance. I think petracca is also a massive chance of becoming the best player in the comp

I think he replaces Vince and plays off half back with stints in the midfield.
  8. Jake lever and Zak jones would be a dream result if we could pull it off.. jones would add pace and precision and lever would be a rock in our backline for a decade
  9. I think it's as much about us having a young group in an even Comp to be honest, I think it'll come. We generally play 3/4 of good footy per game in our wins, when it's 4/4 we will win those games by a lot more
  10. I think he is more bias than Eddie.. he can be hard to watch if the bombers have had a win. And suggesting fantasia had had a better year than Garlett is just laughable
  11. Michael hibberd - 2017 best and fairest and recruit or the year leading Melbourne to its finals appearance in a decade.
  12. And he will get better. It will happen less and less often as he gets more experience and he'll become smarter with ball in hand. I think he has massive upside as our third tall defender with oscar and hopefully lever
  13. Frost does some amazing things and he's improved a lot this season. Given where we are at I think it's about encouraging him to take the game on and back his talent and accept that he will make errors. For his mistake his marking and run and carry off half back has been a huge part of our improved form this season.
  14. Realistically the crows would want this and next years first rounders at least for lever.
  15. I thought he was pretty good today. And clearly he's a better on field leader than anyone we could replace him with.
  16. I'd up the offer to a mil a year over 6-7. He's a gun and a great young leader.
  17. I think lever is a mil a year player under the new agreement. Kid looks like the next great key defender. Lever at one end, with frost and tommy supporting him and hogan, weid and watts up the other end with our midfield is pretty special on paper
  18. I think paddy feels a lot more pressure as well, he is desperate to get into that side and stay there, but gus while I'm sure he's just as desperate has a lot more confidence getting himself right because we need him to be a 200 gamer for us
  19. That was the best individual game I've seen from a demon in a long time. Without his injury he could have had 45 touches and 30 contested possessions
  20. The one I'd be looking at is Kelly. I still think pace and skills on the outside would be a huge boost. I'd be happy to offer 5-6 years on big money and say if you come to us you'll get money and consistent finals
  21. Crows would pay him good dollars to keep him, so we'd have to pay overs to get him to consider us, how much is he worth?
  22. Morris, Boyd... the dogs had some older leaders playing a role as well I guarantee you if you took jones, Viney and Lewis out of team and replaced them with young guys We'd be a worse team need a blend of young and old
  23. Lewis is our best leader, hands down. No disrespect to Viney and jones but if he'd been here 4 years instead of one he'd most likely be co captain of the club his on field direction, smarts and experience are vital. He's just a little out of form but standing up in big moments and easily best 18 for us
  24. He has extremes at both ends of the scale some brilliant and some cringe worthy. The good tonight shows why we persist with him

Not sure joe is any chance to leave Essendon even if they offered him $40.00 and a jolly good flogging with bitters every year
