Farewell Jesse Hogan
Also their horrifically outdated game plan and Ross consistently picking underperforming veterans and wondering why their younger players aren’t developing. I don’t see them playing finals for minimum another 3 seasons even with hogan.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
The silly thing about that is May will be 28. He’s not going to get offered a 5 year deal. He would maybe get a 4 year front loaded on pretty good coin which wouldn’t usually guarantee top compo but it is the AFL so they’d get that if it were a 1 year deal

Farewell Dom Tyson
It does pose an interesting question about Nathan Jones role in 2019, I think the obvious reason Tyson has been pushed out is that he can’t really play any other position to AFL standard

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What a load of garbage. They wouldn’t bother giving Jesse a tour of Fremantle if Melbourne hadn’t given them the all clear. The reality is we can just say no deal and walk away at any stage.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The bloke who designated himself list manager for the trade period. This is like Eddie being In charge of Collingwood for the trade period. It’s an absolute joke. If he stuffs up the hogan signing he should also hand in his resignation

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Would be a disasterous result for a contracted player of Hogan’s talent. I have faith the quality people we have won’t allow that to happen.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Will be pointed to in negotiations over hogan. 4&5 or F off dockers
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Sam McClure just said it matters more how freo value hogan than ya in terms of a trade... no sam, if I want to buy your car I also don’t get to set the value. Jesse is contracted and we are entitled to set the price required to Break it
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Maybe not but it’s not unreasonable to think Jesse might like to see us looked after which Fremantle are in a better position to do than the eagles
-
Farewell Dom Tyson
Yeah I don’t blame him, he has his family, girlfriend, uni and all of his future basically lined up in Melbourne. And I suspect he will get interest from a Melbourne based side as well. Potentially we see him as part of the kolo deal that allows us to hang onto that pick 33
-
Farewell Dean Kent
Stkilda - hey dean would you like a 3 year deal on decent coin and to be part of our regular best 22 also stkilda - sorry dees he’s only worth pick 75. Not how it works saints. We want a pick around 40 for him

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Does one of Oscar or frost potentially play forward if Tom goes down? Perhaps we have our eyes on someone.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I suspect the outcome would be may, Kolodjashnij and a presence in ideally the top 10 of the draft. If we don’t get a high quality key position player in where hogan goes out it’s a bad result. I personally don’t mind the idea of a deal like 9,10 and Pearce from the dockers instead of that higher pick. If we could replace frost and Oscar with May and Pearce I think we go into 2019 with no obvious weakness

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Makes sense for the Eagles. Hogan and darling would keep them up the top of the tree long term. It would be interesting if they could get a trade done. What this does that is puts further heat on the dockers to just hand over 4 & 5 for hogan
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I do wonder if hogan would be more keen to stay if he had been part of the finals series and felt the same fire to go one better next year that the 22 no doubt feel

Rumour File
Source isn’t really great but it’s doing the rounds on Facebook and Twitter.

Rumour File
Apparently we are keen on Travis colyer. Not sure why

Farewell Dean Kent
Thing is, if we won’t use the pick antway we might as well let them do that and then they miss out on who they really want in the PSD
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Melbourne ask for pick 5&6 freo offer picks 9&10 melbourne tell them 5&6 or 5,9 & Pearce or F off freo cave and Ross Lyon signs an 11 year extension
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yesterday Mahoney said that we expected the highest that has been traded for. He’s not going to say that and then accept unders

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Dockers will buckle... hold firm to 4&5 they simply can’t afford to not land hogan now. And he’s contracted so we have named our price.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
And we hold all the cards so if they don’t wanna deal we hang onto him and back ourselves to convince him to stay with a flag tilt or west cost get involved in the conversation in 12 months time

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The thing freo will be very aware of is Jesse isn’t 100% on staying or leaving and there is a serious possibility if he stayed and we had s great year and won the flag or went close, he may well decide this is pretty exciting I’m going to stick around. This may be their only chance because he’s already knocked them back multiple times so they won’t risk it by haggling too much, they know he’s worth 4&5 and that’s what they will give up. If they want to swap 5 to the power and give us 4&9 they can throw in Alex Pearce as well to further bolster our backline we hold all the cards. If freo want him, he’s theirs by they have to pay the price we set, and they should be grateful, given the player Jesse is and will become 4&5 is pretty reasonable. Treloar was 2&7 and Jesse is a key position player as well.. if Gibbs, treloar and lever are 2 first rounders then Jesse possibly is more like 3

Farewell Jesse Hogan
He definitely meant draft picks because we made a significant play at gaff. we have the cap room for both. Not the picks to trade

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
This kid is a potential A grader. I think a lot of posters are going to be eating humble pie when they realise just how good this kid is. He has as much talent as any of our young mids.
