  1. The entire discussion is based on who we want at pick 3. if our number one choice is likely to make it to 6 then anything else is a bonus. but that doesn't mean we shouldn't play hardball. I have a funny feeling we'd be keen on Serong over young, just because he can fill the small forward role and rotate through the midfield.
  2. Would you consider pick 8 for Smith and 11. especially if the intention is to take Weightman with that pick so you're really getting Smith as a bonus.
  3. Something i am glad about in a sense, we don't leak. hopefully it also means we are up to something
  4. Anyone else get excited the moment you see chook in perth post anything? haha
  5. One i'd be seriously looking at is Issac Smith. i think we really lack on field leadership, and he addresses a need as well
  6. Pick 3 for pick 6 and a future pick is a horrible trade for us. i would be staggered if we actually made that trade. we have GWS bent over a barrel and desperate for that pick. we simply have to get a ready made best 22 player who can help us next year or take that pick to the draft.
  7. Agreed. Serong/ Young at 3 Ash/Kemp/Weightman/Flanders at 8
  8. Ted Lasso replied to dave's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think the deal between Sydney and Carlton is done basically in principal. the Swans maybe just don't want to lose him if they can't get Daniher.
  9. I had heard on trade radio a couple of times it seems Essendon think that's a fair asking price and i find that incredible. don't believe for a second we have any interest whatsoever in joe.
  10. I don't understand how Sydney could even consider two first round picks for a guy who's not made it onto the ground in 2 years
  11. The Giants deal for next years first rounder is not a great deal for us. it's likely a late first round pick in a heavily compromised draft, it's probably only worth a second rounder. Much better off demanding Finlayson or Caldwell and pick 6
  12. I like it, we need the run but equally we need the experience and on field leadership. they can have their future second rounder back for him. or pick 8 for Smith and 11
  13. The Giants 2020 first rounder may be say pick 15. in a heavily compromised draft it might only be worth a second rounder. i don't think i'd be doing that deal. i would be telling them we want a ready to go best 22 player and pick 6 for pick 3 and nothing else gets it done.
  14. B: Jetta McDonald May hb: Hibbo Lever Salem C: Langdon Oliver Tommlinson hf: Track Weid Melksham f: Fritsch TMAC Serong Fol: Gawn Brayshaw Viney I/c Jones, Harmes, Kolojasniji, Ash
  15. I'm surprised Robbo can count to 50.
  16. Sounds like we're very likely to draft Cody Weightman which makes me think we should look to split 8 with the Cats for 14 and 17 as he's likely to be there at 14 and we would effectively get a bonus free hit with 17 maybe on jeremy Sharp
  17. My best/Hopeful guess would be. 1. Rowell 2. Anderson 3. Dees - Serong 4. Giants - Green 5. Crows - Stephens 6. Bombers - Flanders 7. Dockers - Jackson 8. Dees - Young
  18. Might well have been a typo
  19. Any run downs would be greatly appreciated.
  20. Hopefully the Jenkins signing means pick 6 and Finlayson just got traded to Melbourne for 3
  21. Agreed, they're going all in they might throw up some hail marys to try and land some guns from other clubs, if not i'd be grabbing Young and then one of Flanders or Ash at 8
  22. It's certainly bold. but i've personally been keen on swapping our 2020 pick for something this year, just because next year is nearly a write off.
  23. Heavily compromised draft in 2020 so our first rounder then is probably worth 10 spots later than it actually falls. so say it's 10 you're looking at it as 20, 26 and 50 for 8 in a MUCH stronger draft
