The coaches and club should be called out on going to Alice Springs. The Club for making the decision, the coaches for a game plan that has more holes than Swiss cheese. As for players....they are likely to lose the next 5 games . Players should have been up for this one but now won't be singing the song for a while.

I'm a bit sick of hearing this tired BS....there are two teams out there. No back up game plan, no desire , and stuff all accountability. Garland Omac and Kent need to be dropped. As for others, they don't come to play in the NT, so the club needs to stop wasting 4 points on going there.

Absolute waste of a game to this club......players obviously incapable of switching on for NT games, absolute gift to Port Adelaide every time by the MFC.

Memo to Peter Jackson.....STOP playing our damn home games outside of Melbourne!!!!!! I am sick of watching of these games in Alice Springs and elsewhere . Get the games back at our ground. Had a gutful of games in NT, especially our home games.

In my opinion yes. He has improved so much and is our best run and carry out of defence. Nev can play small and tall and reads the play very well. I think he is in front of the others including TMac, TMac still has brain fades and is not as consistent as Jetta. our defence needs more height but Garland and Dunn have not kept pace with the modern game. OMac is still a fair way off, so need to look at big guys in the trade period, to counter the big forwards. Still not sold on TMac but live in hope.

If anyone bothered to watch the Bulldogs and Crows you could not have helped listen to the absolute BS commentary on Stringer. Taylors cheering for Stringer and turning their whole focus of commentary on Stringer is nothing short of appalling TV. When are us the sports loving public going to get some decent fair without bias commentary on our radio and TV. Brian Taylor has turned the whole commentary thing into its about him!!!! This Stringer stuff has got out of control.

Consistently is a word I left out!! and they are that good that none of our coaches have a plan to negate them.

Grimes and Garland are NOT the solution. TMac needs to get on his bike very quickly with his consistency.

I will kick off with these two. Brent Harvey Nick Reiwoldt Sure there are many others....I can't wait for the day when we will have stars who will do the same to other clubs.

It's has sweet FA to do with selection for Etihad, the Melbourne Team have to turn up every week, not every 2nd or 3rd. I can cop a loss, but it is the way you lose that counts. The coaching was khrap yesterday, and our backline was terrible. The difference between our best and worst still haunts the club. The players must take responsibility no matter where they play. TMac, Dunn, Lumumba are 3 examples of players who are inconsistent. There are others, but I get frustrated with senior players who don't turn up every week

Firstly....never ever expect to win at this stadium. The loss today was very very poor, back line totally rudderless, Reiwoldt did what he liked without any accountability. watched it closely and many players looked slow, dropped their heads early, and just gave up. very poor output with apologies to Hogan, Watts and Viney. TMac - supposed to be the general in backline, he was pathetic today. Consistency is bad among senior players, so can't expect much from new kids.

Heard from a very good source that Gus Brayshaw was not impressed with being dropped. He is just not match fit for the next level. A couple of weeks in the magoos should get him right. from what I saw in pre season, Gus had a limited buildup and is a bit behind.

The Reiwoldt incident has nothing to do with winning us games. I was referring to Buggs aggression in field play helps us win games.

BB - agree with the opinion that it was poor form by Bugg to push Reiwoldt, however I disagree with the rest. This club needs hard heads with character, mongrel and attitude. Bugg plays his part and his team mates will love him for it. Bug has played a couple of games and you describe him as a player of limited ability!!! I guess your knowledge is superior to that of Roos, Goodwin and MCartney. Big headed coward are your words, FFS how long have you been watching AFL? Reiwoldt serves it up to our players every time we play them and he has showboated numerous times. I don't know you from a bar of soap, but I do know that the MFC has had sand kicked in their collective faces for 10 years and frankly I love Bugg in our team. This club is finally moving in the right direction and needs a hard edge as part of that, those who want to have tea and scones and want a Gentile game time has past you by. This is Melbourne under Roos, Goodwin and Co. all power to Tommy Bugg types who help us win games.

Let's get real here......Barrett & Lloyd made comments about Buggs arrogance. I love it!!! Good on you Tommy Bugg and it's about time the MFC stopped eating poo and stood up for ourselves. All power to Tomy Bugg and the MFC. Any supporters of the MFC who are not on board with our new brand, spirit, and fight are living in the past. As for Barrett and Lloyd, they belong to a group including Dwayne Dwabbit who take every opportunity to look for negatives on the MFC. They can all go and get rooted, because we are coming, and Tommy Bugg is part of it.

Two things stood out for me watching replay on 7. The commentary team were cheering and willing on Richmond, and the same people went out of their way to highlight how great Cotchin was and what a superb leader blah blah blah!!!!! Normally do not give a toss, however it was so obvious it pizzed me off when Melbourne was playing so well. Actually Carey, Zemplis and the brother of Gill showed very bad bias with their commentary. In the end we won the game, won the fight, and that's all that matters, but still annoying to see such bias commentary. How does Gills brother get a gig calling games? He is terrible.

The reason I no longer tune into 3AW sports is bcos of Russell. Self righteous idiot who takes every opportunity to bag the MFC. This bloke is a A grade Knobber that somehow must have goat photos in order to keep his job.

Why the $?;:k do people still watch that bogan purile, pull your pood footy show? Brain dead tv with washed up knobs telling schoolboy jokes! If you admit to watching that then you need to broaden your life experience......seriously!!!!

Intensity great! We were playing a finals team. We need to start nailing a few over the next month, or its catchup in 2nd half of season to better Last years wins. Im gobsmacked our coaches cannot find a way to nullify Harvey!!!! 6 effing goals as for the umpires - we were smashed. This team needs to find a way of beating those umps that hate us.

Sadly Garland although in leadership group continues to disappoint on game day. He has hardly been starved of opportunities ! Our group has mindset issues, and lacks leadership when it counts. Tommy Mac needs to play a blinder or he will find himself in the same situation. As for Kent, he also needs to find the pill more often. I hate games against norf, Harvey always rains on our parade and rubs it in our noses. Hope coaches have the nouse to do something about him this week.

I am very appreciative of what Paul Roos is doing for the MFC, however I am just dumbfounded by his comments of some players being tired!!! geezus Roosy, it's game 2. 17 other teams. What is this TIRED BS? Bulldogs can run out games, blah blah blah. Stop giving the players an out, your team played like primadonnas after last week. Pull them into gear as is your job and stop pampering with this tired BS.
