  1. Well Goodwin came to Melbourne saying that everyone he spoke to said "don't go there ". Get Sheeds back to right the ship for 12 months then mentor Hird. What could go wrong...hopefully a lot
  2. Tom is unlikely to hit his straps week one. It's not his habit these days
  3. Last time Weid actually played at AFL level as well
  4. You have to hit rock bottom before you can honestly change for the better.
  5. Actually I nearly wrote Jared and Flash..That second quarter threw me off my game..( smile) It's nice to read you not complaing Ding. Mark Neeld as next Essendon coach? What do you think?
  6. That was the take away for me A future with Jackson, Petty ,Rivers and Kickett( can't he just?) in their prime.....!!! Bugger ..we are going miss Jackson every timwe play in the West.
  7. Charlie Cameron COULD win it with just 4 kicks if the ball hits the deck which it seems to be doing more often recently. I don't know about Kossie but Fritsch needs to kick 3+ or we're stuffed .
  8. well according to my posting theory it may mean he kicks 5 in the G/ F Egg on my face as well in that case. But I always had time for Hunt and Melksham..no one's perfect
  9. How about a game where Hunt and Melksham were crucial to victory Who are you guys going to bag now ?
  10. Watch the vision Lever was signalling the corridor and when he got the ball that's where he kicked it . Champions make their own luck. But that moustache...geez I used to thimk he was mocking Taylor Walker but he still hasn't got rid of it
  11. One would think so
  12. Watching him going front and centre with intent did my heart good. I don't recall seeing such focus from him at other times
  13. Does this give him time to practise kicking to team mates.?
  14. Two blokes who can't kick straight . Great thinking
  15. You are just pee'd that he Selwood and Dangerfield haven't played for the Dees. Just give it a break and maybe grow up
  16. There's more chance of Weid kicking 6 in the Grand Final than there is of Jackson signing another contract at MFC
  17. IRW replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
They need to wallop Carlton to get % clear of Sydney. 2nd is still on,still unlikely
  18. You still haven't understood the Jackson is going to Western Australia have you! Geez ... Grundy or no Grundy thete is no Jackson
  19. Gone backwards perhaps, unsettled from some injuries that matter as well. But my memory of last years finals was that, seemingly from nowhere ,they could hit targets!!!!! I still recall Gus catching a pass, literally on the boundary line , in the GF...it almost looked intentional! Even Oliver's wild eyed running and kicking seemed as if he knew where he wanted the ball to go....and it did That's actually all they need to fix
  20. Neither can I .
  21. I'd settle for Kossie to stop trying for mark of the year, get front and centre.. THAT'S what small forwards do and kick goal of the year ,with or without the stupid tongue out running in circles thing...Trac actually got genuinely good when he stopped doing that.. Just sayin' Spargo could kick it to him..he seems to make better choices than most of our midfield champs
  22. Yep hitting the post 3 times from the boundary on a windy day is unlucky after that it's mostly skill and focus.
  23. Yeah as long as it's no more than 40 metres Spargo would be the man for mine. He got one from there against the Hawks after the first quarter siren in ..2018(?) It was at his absolute limit but I think he's got another 5 metres these days. Clutch goals on the siren Fritta and Raggedy Anne I am not sure. Kicking to finish off the Pies with 5/10 minutes to go ,certainly
  24. I still fantasise a shot from the boundary in the last minute that buries either the Cats or the Pies( I don't care which). I just can't think who might be able to do it..
