Personally I suspect we may find losing Petty harder to cover
-
Seems a reasonable assumption according to previous resigning schedules across interstate clubs vis a vis time lines. But as the saying goes there's still a chance that Scully will stay
-
Do you follow Nagarjuna?
-
Yeah probably fair enough. ...but what an incredible sin it was
-
I figure he throws it 50 % of that 70% It's a thing of beauty imo

Norf doesn't have Garrey Lyon either. That should help them and it seems like Boomer is less up to his neck in the Club chaos than Connolly was.. Scott seems to have left a mess no matter the manner of his departure. He played a hard ball better than most Maybe they just are a crepe Club that never recovered from the man's man years under the real estate agent

Ah there you go . I am happy for you ,I just think we need a little movement at the station ,or whatever it is they call home these days. Not too much though as you can see I speculated we could finish top of the table from here Mind you this is familiar territory for me ..two flags and a regular final four supporter Ho hum ( smile)

Goody and Choco or Bluey and Lord Nev? ( smile)

Clearly I suggested tweaking , not completely changing according to opposition weaknesses. And moving Kossi to the contested kick in is hardly surrendering the kick in Can you read? Do you think Kossi is causing pressure at the kick ins? You must be in the 10 week loading mob. Geez try something intelligent for a change..I asked for alternatives because you guys are so smart...and misquoting is all you've got!.

In theory we could still finish on top more likely 4th and that's a tad optimistic on current form. We have pretended they have been loading for the last 8 games( I mean seriously?), took a while to get going early because they started late (Premiers after all) and recently lost to Geelong because we tricked them into showing everything and we showed nothing ( it keeps gets better and better). My theory is that injuries have been an important problem and lack of professionalism crucial. What to do? I reckon they are good enough..look at the stats over the season and the challenge is really in the hands in the coaches...Goodwin especially. Plan B ?????( at long last)????perhaps restructure game day plans that no one will see coming according to the opposition. It won't be Petty up forward; in case you haven't noticed he's patching up a backline that needs help and doing it admirably..why would you move him ? Stop wasting Kossie "defending " kick ins..he's not an AAA+ battery robot ffs. Suggest a move that includes May kicking in occasionally to the right hand side..NO ONE will see that coming@ If someone is sore..give him a rest NOW. Try one , just one, left field promotion from the " twos". Read the riot act.....then get Choco to do one one commentary where there are pieces to pick up. You guys are obviously experts (especially Bluey) let's hear some common sense and no mention of Weideman

Could have said the same thing about Jack Watts...actually pretty much every past forward except Ablett Snr,Carey or Dunstall. Anyway there's more chance of LJ of holding a couple more a game than Weid.( that's Dogga ,not Liam J who only dropped them so he could kick them over his head while flat on his back) Weid caught two against the Hawks in 2019...almost match winners from memory...but I think he reckons thats his quota for the decade.
-
If we don't off load him then , the way our forward line os going, MFC will be a" club that is struggling". 7 years is surely long enough to work out whether he can hold down a spot. It's not as if MFC has had champion full forwards keeping him out of the team
-
It looks like the coaches believe what the commentators were saying about MFC's unbeatable brilliance and that the "big" Coach still doesn't believe in having a Plan B. Anyway never mind," Landers" have it under control. We have been loading for 10 weeks and once the umpires and Selwood stop cheating we will be Premiers again. Perhaps we just need Bluey to organise Cake Morton to coach the mids to tweak the system.

Choco has a history of losing interest..or so I was told last season
-
It's still too many changes on top of Clarrie out for a start ;the reasoning is almost irrelevant. Goodwins not for changing; some might say that's why he isn't a super coach. Kossie does what Kossie does, but he's a luxury who doesn't position himself well enough to maximise his talents. He still needs to learn his game rather than celebrating his successes. Salem will come good ,it won't happen any quicker in the twos. Spargo still has the best footy brain in the forward half...its seriously lacking with the others. Max will be better next week. Swap Van Rooyen for Raggedy Anne Brown by all means and see if Fritsch has better simpatico with him. The only way this season will work out now( it's obviously about 10 games too late) is to bite the bullet and stick with the core of last year's team and make changes for the longer term with fingers crossed....... .....Or get Bluey officially on board in the team selection process . I always like his idea of Cale Morton for captain back in the Demonology days. Left field thinking aka retiring to Queenscliff as opposed to Portsea
-
That's not going to happen. Goodwin needs a coaching move not a selection slaughter. BTW the elephant in the room is Kossi..he's a luxury apparently not expected to get it 10 times. Running really quickly/ predictably at the full back kicking in is a waste energy
-
Kossie out
-
I did too
-
I just thought it was an embarrassing post.
-
Pickett no Eddie Betts
-
Raggedy Anne?
-
Money is easier to resolve than a doofas for an agent or teenage home sickness

I tip him to get a free on the siren in the 2022 G/F, after Weid having been dragged kickless ,and slots the winning goal after the bell Interviewed later he says " I have been waiting for my opportunity "
-
Oh is Angus staying then?
-
Mr too ..Hawkins not Weid
