  1. So pleased he’s done a ‘deep dive’ rather than a thorough analysis.
  2. Wonderful, but makes you realise how long it has been since the Demons won a premiership.
  3. Des Bell. There’s some information on him at http://www.demonwiki.org/Des+Bell
  4. Great game. He should be proud of his performance. He got huge accolades from the Dees players watching from the sidelines.
  5. Team responding to criticism not with skill and commitment but with cheap shots.
  6. The mark of a true Demon supporter - we can never be happy; the best we can aspire to is 'not unhappy'.
  7. The best ruckman in the league, two of the best on-ballers and the most expensive backline, and this is what the coaching staff deliver.
  8. Soundly beaten by an out of form team with no interchanges.
  9. Does Hardwick get to select both teams this weekend?
  10. The short quarters robbed us of all momentum
  11. It was a reckless, dangerous tackle that was completely unnecessary. The AFL is weak if he gets anything less than a couple of weeks. And how ridiculous that the penalty depends on the outcome. Whether or not Burgoyne thought Dangerfield had the ball is irrelevant - there’s a duty of care.
  12. Acknowledging that there are infinitely more pressing concerns than the footy, I’ll take any positives I can. If/when the 2020 season is cancelled, the Dees should be in a good position for the 2021 draft, given our 2019 season
  13. Really pleasing to see them play the game out. We were kicking into a fairly stiff breeze in that final quarter.
  14. Not convinced either of his feet are right
  15. AVB would have to be the most rehabilitated player in the history of the MFC.
  16. I would have very much liked to have seen us recruit a forward, or two. The fact we didn’t makes me assess our trade performance as poor. However, I appreciate that we can’t bring in forwards if none is available. So, now I'm wanting to see us use the early picks to go for blokes who can kick goals. This appears to be the only way to overcome the 2019 problem of lots of fruitless inside 50s.
  17. So many inside 50s, so few goals. Staggering that we wouldn’t have been going all out to trade in some forwards. Without them, sadly I reckon we will be even worse next year.
  18. It would be good if we’d contemplate trying to recruit one or two blokes who could occasionally use their boots to propel the ball between the 2 large white poles, ideally at the Melbourne attacking end.
  19. Providing he arrives at the club with a 4-6 week injury.
  20. They’re managing an invisible team led by invisible co-captains.
