It's interesting for someone like me who always reads D'land but seldom posts (anymore) the often quite vitriolic posts that are directed to TDI's training reports. I'm assuming DD36 that you also attend just as many sessions as you seem also to be very well informed (is that correct) I for one don't attend training sessions and so read with avid interest the reports from people that do attend and whilst I realise that these are opinion based I would certainly see no reason to bag these opinions . When the season proper starts we will see for ourselves the improvement or not in our MFC players. So if Roos & Co see fit to keep Jordie, Bail, etc on our list , I for one will applaud these players for trying to get the best out of themselves & will withhold criticism until it is warranted in 2015 & not based on past performances. In summary ....to all those who are able to attend training sessions the reports & photos that are posted are very much appreciated by I am sure many on Demonland & when I am in a position to actually watch the players in this pre-season then I can then legitimately agree or disagree with these posts

Sorry my bad with spelling but will cop constructive criticism not just being a smartarse for the sake of it. Is there any point passing on info that is reliable ....I don't get any brownie points for doing this....we all love the same team don't we. I am sure all teams would love DYLAN SHIEL but realistically not every team has any hope of getting him. So I guess only the teams that are in a position to bid for him would ? Oh & Machy don't personally know him so point not taken !

Dillon shield likely to stay at GWS....only club to show any interest is Hawks. The melb connection is simply because Greg Healy had known him all his life & would love him at melb.... So line through him. Oh by the way, realise this has only come from the closest person to him & not from the reliable rumours & innuendo from halfwit journalists & social media flogs, but as per the paul Stewart info...make of it as you will !

No didn't' hurt freo....surely it wouldn't have been the fact that they were grand final runners up & playing GWS wouldn't have had anything to do with it or the fact that the majority of their players would have had three times or more pre-seasons than our players....no wouldn't have thought so.

He spoke at our function today as did Jayden hunt. Crossy hopes to be back for lions game, hunt wrapped to be at the club & is battling stress fractures as he grew so quickly & they are being ultra conservative with him. Russell Robertson also popped in & implored everyone to keep the faith, the club is where they want it of field & they are confident of turning it around on field. So I guess we give them a big preseason....let's the recruiting guys work their magic & roll on 2015

In one breath we laud roos & the coaching panel with what they have done with Dunn, Pederson etc & in general the development of the whole team & then we presume we know better than that same panel with the ins & outs. I would suggest that the coach ( whom we pay over $1 million) & the same coaching panel would have a better idea of who should play & who not. Whilst we as melb supporters are mentally scarred I can't imagine who we could possibly have as a coach who could do any better. It is fun to speculate about who will be in or not, but this forum is simply for opinions & discussions .......but to criticise & assume we know better is simply ludicrous. Can we just show some faith!

We are capable of winning. If we play 100% committed footy we can do it. We actually match up very well....the only variable is that if every MFC player is not switched on & play to their capability then we don't get the job done. But that happens with every team ...it is above the shoulders. Have a good look at ports wins & losses ......again I am confident but it requires everyone to stand up & that is the challenge with a club that is slowly starting to believe in themselves. Go Dees

Every team can carry a pedo....not overly skilled but makes up for it with 100% effort. Unfortunately he has had to play key position roles because of our injury situation & then we become over critical. When he is supported by these key position players & he plays his supporting role...hopefully you will be a little kinder

Said unfair to focus just on watts......have been trying him in a lot of positions as they have been trying a lot of people in different positions & they might have to look at themselves (coaches) they might be doing the wrong thing. Bomber also reiterated that he gives players lots of chances

Ablett & those kids have played mostly 3 years together. In case you haven't noticed over half our team is new ( age is irrelevant here) ..they are coming up to playing 6 games together & we are still missing some key players & have other players playing in new positions e.g. Frawley. The main difference on the day was Ablett ....we didn't play well & at any other time it would have been a 50 pt thrashing. We have as supporters gone from pre-season desiring no more thrashings to after one win expecting to win all. It was a horrible game but I'll take the 8 point loss...the little improvements & still believe we are well & truly on the right track.

Sorry goodoil he did miss the gf but his navicular was a trauma related injury & break unlike the more common cause of this injury which is generally stress related (ie trengove) croad had tweaked his foot in the first final but was cleared & then had a fracture dislocation during the gf & kept playing on it. I am sure jack will be back playing for us in 2015 & the type of attributes he brings as a person & young man far outweigh any perceived shortcomings in his game. Note.. they can be worked on & corrected.....character is generally inherent

Egan played thru it & in a grand final which was his undoing likewise croad. As with all injuries treatments have improved & with correct rehabilitation he should come back successfully. If you are having any type of op you are always givien the worst case scenario & that's what squeaky girl robbo would be going with.

Take away the hysteria .... In all reality that type of price tag would possibly only suit GWS. Freo could maybe be go $650 ....the top sides ....please... they take paycuts to stay together. I would be happy to pay between $ 500 - $600 (000) for him....otherwise goodbye. However if we finish very low & pick 2 or 3 is available....hmm would seriously think about it

Why are you criticising toumpas . Several posters are now lauding Lyndon Dunn who was perennially rubbished for years ....why can't we just let him develop. As roos said these young kids are not the messiahs......honestly some of you need to get a grip !!

Certainly didn't seem rattled to me .....I always feel calm after I hear him talk !!
