AFLW: Rd 9 vs FNQ Hawks
She's not a spud, no one that plays at the level is a spud. ...but I think the game may have passed her by, too easily pushed off the ball and makes to many mistakes. I think it's time to have a look at Rigoni...

What it is or what attributes you don't rate 'dazz'??? You obviously watch a bit of junior football and know people in the system so I'm interested in your feedback.

So...all this from a week or so back is water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. I expect, given a clear run in preseason that Clarry will pick up the 10 coaches votes in the first game of the season. ..and then he and we're on our way. I know it's a forum and everyone has a right to have their say, but do we really need to go on and on about this now? ...and for the rest of the preseason? it's going to be tedious. It's done and dusted. ...and of course I don't have to read the thread, so I will go back to my standard position on this thread and for the most part steer clear.

AFLW: Rd 08 vs Richmond
Great performance again today... I don't see us as a serious threat this year and would like to see us keep developing the young talent. Gall and Campbell are very exciting prospects and I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing Rigoni before the end of the season..

Wade Derksen
It was before Roosy's time...he did need an attitude adjustment but was played out of position. I saw him playing for Casey down at Werribee against Willy I think and he more than held his own against Hudson. ...but will still tried to make a forward of him. Was never going to be...

It held Max's development back...wasn't a good move by the the FD but then not much was good from them at the time.

2 goal turn around Lil...that was dreadful.

AFLW: Rd 07 vs Adelaide
Good to see them take their opportunities. I think Campbell will be a star of the competition in the next few years. Would love to see her settled as a forward doing some relief ruck work.

They were also using Spencer ahead of him in the ruck at Casey...

Robbo parts company with AFL360
They could fix the show by starting with Sarah Jones as the host...as for her sidekick personally I would go with Dunstall.

Open Letter to the MFC
Sorry, but we've brought this on ourselves. Poor leadership from the top of the club (CEO & board) to let this spiral out of control. McLure is a decent journalist and he doesn't have it in for the club, Whatley neither and whilst I don't think Kane has it in for us he is a professional s...stirrer. Edit: actually McLure is a bit of a [censored], mixed up my Sam's, Edmund is the good Sam. The point still holds, it's not the media having it in for the club, the club needs to get it's act together...

I can't disagree with the open letter. They say the fish rots at the head, so why is the head reviewing the rot.

We didn't want to let Jackson go either...but when he's out of contract (2026) if not before, the race is on.

Club in crisis - Media pile on - August 2024
Apparently Butters played his finals with a cracked rib...scans initially cleared him after the Geelong game. Apparently the games toughest player now, when a couple of weeks ago had his courage questioned. Interesting football media we have. I give up..

2024 Brownlow Medal
Even the coaches award favours the Mids...not sure what the answer is 'Macca', but there's a vast array of players seemingly ineligible for the medal.

New List Manager - Tim Lamb?
I think the Grundy trade in was a big mistake...is there any one person who should be held accountable or is it a group of people? We're only guessing. As for other decisions, we just don't know the logistics. Salary cap space, opportunity, who was available to us. I think the Grundy fiasco has made it harder to attract another ruckman so that effects who is available to us. We've certainly been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to improve our draft hand over the last few years but our ladder position amongst other things hasn't given us a good hand & opposition clubs generally have not wanted to trade. I don't know enough to put all the plusses & minuses on the board & come up with an answer to the blame game.
