I don't believe we have a young player ready to step up so there is no development issue but more likely a list issue. It's going to be interesting to see how we handle White. Do we see him as a potential ruck or a KP player??? Either way if he makes it he's still a few years off.

We should know a bit about him as he trained with us and played some games with Casey. Very highly rated as a kid. Well worth a look I would think.

Honestly 'bin', I thought Mitchell showed his intent when he rested Watson early in the game. Then the smiles, laughter & levity on the bench led by the coach. They were playing with us & never looked like losing unfortunately. I would have loved us to have wiped the stupid smart a... grin off his face but it wasn't going to happen. Maybe we will get the last laugh if they miss the top 4 by a fraction.

The Bear season 4 is good, thought 3 was a bit hit & miss but this one is back in form… Looking forward to the new season of Slow Horses due in September. We sure do...the measure of this board will be it's ability to grow the fan base. A home base will probably be a good start, that and on-field success. Although I don't have full faith that they are up for the task at hand. Past results would say not.

We're a small club. Fans became members when we won a flag and were winning games. Fairweather members. They would always drop off when things get tough, maybe it happened a bit earlier than expected but it was going to happen sometime. I would be more concerned with a board/management who couldn't make hay when things were good.

...and some people want to go back to zones. The sooner we move on ridding ourselves of academies & F & S the better.

The whole case was dumb and the media rubbish. If they went back to paying in the back none of this rubbish would happen. Shiel deserves a big penalty or the act but in the end that's not the point here. It really p...me off. Just go back to the rules, our forefathers developed them for a reason and this is one of them.

Share on the pregame or game day thread 'hardtack'....so many people derail threads and this is for a good purpose. Maybe pass it by the mods to get the all clear or even ask for a suggested thread that gets a lot of views.

Howes came on & Bowey went into the mid/forward rotation. I would like to see more of Bowey in that role.
