Looks like Goody is still the HS whipping boy. They have really treated him poorly and it's amazing that he still has anything to do with Robbo and his mob.

I was watching Gulden a few weeks back when he had to play a bit more of an inside mid role in a pressure game. For someone who is one of the great kicks in the game currently, he continually turned the ball over. I think this is where the inside role is often not properly understood by many.

Purcell has been a big loss. ...but apart from that it might be time for Mick to look at a few other moves. I think Goldie is much better in defence and should go back to HB. Campbell showed a bit as a KPF and would be good to see her settle there for a bit. I would like to see Gillard tried in the ruck...I think she's wasted down back at the moment. A bit more controversial but at its highest level I think the game has passed Lil by and probably Paxy as well. Not sure where to sit Banno. Can't just keep plugging holes with Hore.

Some good points here... Freo, I wonder if they're calling for one in Perth? I'm happy for them all to fail and you could add a few more to the list. ...but I don't think a review would hurt us and is in our best interests.

Interesting point.. Also, it's interesting that he's going to 7 who have had cultural issues play out in the media of recent. So maybe culture is not so important.

I love it 'Macca', but I'm listening to my old vinyl & haven't bought any new stuff. There are some pretty expensive new & reissued vinyl releases out there. Not sure it's as good as the old but it's fun to put a record on & listen to a side then turn it over & listen to the other...

I think that's true and I often wonder why we didn't get his preferred option as successor.

Like them or not we have a real problem with the football media. Is what they are saying correct? Who would know. Maybe some is, maybe some isn't. We do have a credibility problem with them though and it also seems that there are lose lips around the club. We are losing the PR battle and that's a head office issue. Communication. There have been a few legal issues also at play but we're not going to get into those. It wouldn't hurt to have a complete review from top down. If everyone is at the top of their game what's to lose? ...and if they aren't, then what's to lose? We sort it out and get better.

You really think it's only the FD that needs to be reviewed? The media are having pot shots at us...if Peter Jackson was still CEO would it be open season on Melbourne? I think not. The problems are much greater than just the FD.

Seems like flavour of the month at the moment but don't know much about him apart from missing the Richmond job. Mahoney worth a look. PJ wanted him to take the job and I reckon he's (PJ) about the best administrator the club has had and would know. Wright worth sounding out...
