  1. BH, what would u offer GWS for Cameron? and please don't say 'Bate, Dunn, Bennell and a few 3rd round draft picks and upgrades'
  2. Your facepalming because you think a potential star would fit better in our team which has a good scoring rate from inside 50s rather then an inside mid like trengove + a keyback like Frawley? or a good half-back rebounding defender? Im facepalming at your facepalm.
  3. Not just Watts but Watts + another quality player or first round draft pick which is what would be needed to get it across the line.
  4. and it would take more then just Watts to get Cameron so I dont know why people are comparing him to Watts (Including myself) It would take a Watts and a Viney to get him. or perhaps a Trengove and a Frawley. I highly doubt any of you arguing in favor of him would be willing to give up that. Plus the coin of course
  5. Why get a star when one is not needed? I would much prefer an all rounded balanced good performing team over a star and a bunch of mediocre players.
  6. well your just wasting ur time then. the link to the story is already posted on demonland main page.
  7. All these people drooling over Cameron are probably the same people who drooled over Butcher last year, and look how his season is going. Cameron had a few good games coz he was under-rated so probably didnt even have the best defender on him half the time with izzy taking the better defender. He is also yet to prove any versatility like Watts has, it would be interesting to see if Cameron could be thrown at half back and rack up 25+ possessions and several goal assists. Also note that our team already has plenty of forwards who can kick a goal and a mid-field which was struggling against GWS. We got Rivers/Garland/Clark/Howe/Jurrah/Watts/Martin who all can go forward and our conversion rate this year has been fine. It would be foolish to invest so much into a part of our team which is already doing fine, we need to invest in our mid-field.
  8. you didnt need to copy paste the story about him. If he is facing tests then it means he is almost a sure thing if he passes the tests. Hence In: Bail, Martin Out: Molony, Clark
  9. suprised of the lack of mention of Bail I think he ll get a run this week
  10. I think that Jetta has alot more to offer then Williams and Evans.
  11. He ll cover bartrams role for the rest of the season
  12. I think Dunn is actually a really good re-bounding defender off half back. He kicked started a number of attacked from back there yesterday
  13. Dont worry, he ll still have sylvia to have a laugh with and to make plans for after work drinks with
  14. If gws wanted to, they could talk any mfc player (ie blease) into walking out and putting there name in for pre season draft with the guarantee of a free player couldnt they ?
  15. Looks like Scully wont get to say hi to his chum Blease
  16. Nichoson will need to fill the role. Bit of a lifeline for Nicho
  17. If we 2nd last and GWS nominate Viney then we will need to decide between the 2
  18. If we have the chance to take Whitfield instead of Viney, this should be considered. Whitfield is tearing it apart in under 18s
  19. "Melbourne has indicated it will select Viney - son of club champion and current recruiting manager Todd Viney - at the 2012 draft" Pretty sure the last thing the MFC has said that it was not a guarantee and would come down to whats best for the club based on the picks they have on hand.
  20. wonder if couch can step up and play a small negating defender role
  21. now we need both small defenders and small forwards. def some opportunities for some fellas.
  22. should get in whitfields ear and tell him we'll take him so he gets to stay in Vic instead of havn to live interstate. maybe he can refuse to be interviewed by GC or GWS
  23. why would they want to make us waste a pick on viney, at there own risk , they would be giving 16 other of there competitors including GC a leg up. I dont think SOS would be foolish enough
  24. I think jurrah should be thrown into the mix as trade bait to be honest. I know people here love him but it looks as if he is made of ceramic and takes longer then usual to get over injuries. Some clubs may be willing to pay something of value for him and i struggle to see him having any big impact at the MFC in the future due to injuries and off field concerns.
