any of the good small forwards up for FA this year? Betts? Nahas? I wouldnt mind targetting one of them as well. I actually think that in the game these days that a good small forwrd is worth a bit of extra coin.

Last time Jurrah was injured it said 4 weeks but he was really out for 10 months so i wouldn't hold my breath
-
Round 11 injury list Clint Bartram (knee) - test Sam Blease (groin) - test Michael Evans (back) - 6-8 weeks James Frawley (foot) - test Max Gawn (knee) - season Jordan Gysberts (jaw) - test Neville Jetta (ankle) - 4-6 weeks Liam Jurrah (ankle) - 3-5 weeks Stef Martin (quadriceps) - test Ricky Petterd (hamstring) - 1 week James Strauss (leg) - test Rory Taggert (back) - indefinite Leigh Williams (virus) - test Good to see Jetta and Evans off the Indefinite list. Also looks like Gysberts has recovered quicker then expected. However, sad to see Petterd there - he's having a shocking year! We are doing well this year on injuries, result of Misson?

any1 know why this kid was dropped on the weekend, the newspaper said concussion but i have no idea how he would have been concussed just before a game, unless he slipped and banged his head on something. that aside, i was watching the GWS game on the weekend and was thinking $cully is no better then Ro Bail the way he plays, we've lost almost nothing here.
-
Was watching Jack Riewoldt tonight, i know its a long shot but whats stopping Cook from reaching those limits. They are similar body shape arnt they? And god damn we need a small forward, every game i watch theres 2 small forwards ripping it up. Tonight Nahas and Saad tore the defenders to shreds.

Tapscott bail and joel mac in forward line this week
-
So what potential forwards are in the draft this year. We may need one
-
It has come to my attention that our forward line as we knew it is dissolving. Today i saw Mark Neeld saying that he isn't worried for Mitch Clark to have a go in the ruck and that he plans on playing Jack Watts down back Also Howe seems to be getting put behind the ball quite often and is unable to nail many goals when he does get a shot. We have no decent small forward at the moment and Sylvia is not performing. With all that going on what is currently left of our forward line? What are your thoughts on all this

what can primus do if Boak dosnt give an answer? drop him for the year? that ll do hell of a lot of good for the culture down there
-
U know its depressing when the "omitted" list is more enjoyable to look at then the "ins" list
-
This article would make Brock cringe
-
Can someone clarify the actual meaning of indefinite? Does that mean that there is a good chance that the injury is for life? How can they not be sure how far away it is?

Quarter by quarter analysis - is fitness our problem?

Has any1 in here tried to kick a footy when they are dead off there feet from not being fit enough, it aint easy. Legs are like cement and sometimes like jelly- 55 replies

Just coz he isnt working directly for us yet dosnt mean he wont feed us his insight. Im sure he is still investigating all the young players and will give the MFC the heads up and his opinions on things.
-
Its coz MFC is not as fit as Carlton. Brocks spent a few years under Carltons regime and can sprint burst after 100 minutes of gametime. Jack probably cant due to jelly legs.
-
Note: The physical load, i think he is quite fine with the captaincy

He plays in the mid-field with more senior guys like Moloney, Jones and other guys who havn't been showing much burst like Mckenzie. This is a new regime and no injury has even been mentioned by the club. Im sure one of the guys wouldve said he has a 'slight tweak' or something if he was carrying something as a reason for his performance. But no-one has!! except random demonlanders and there prosumptions and there random sources that never get named. Wake up guys, his just struggling with the load at the moment.

His legs are probably turning to jelly from all the running in the new regime that his young body isn't used to.

Maybe his 'couldnt run' issue is a result of the rumour they are running 30% more during games. If any of you guys have run constantly over a long period of time with repeat sprints you would notice your legs turn to jelly. Maybe his body just isn't use to the intencity of playing in the mid-field with a new game plan which requires much more running then usual. I think most people would find it hard to burst off the spot and spring for marks and kick 50m when your legs are jelly
-
The difference is that when one is carrying something and isn't performing then they mention there injury. Frawley and Bartram are having decent years (In MFCs eyes) and wern't having articles written about there performance and it being blamed on other issues.
-
I dont get why everyone keeps saying his injured when nobody has confirmed anything except random sources who are never named and peoples pronsumptions based on how he runs. If he was injured the club would say he is, they have no reason not to coz i am pretty sure other clubs would not get any major advantage by knowing he is injured. Its not like any1 can stick an elbow into a sore groin or ankle, and im sure opposition club doctors would be able to tell if he was injured or not anyway.
-
Its a good sign that Jack is a bit down about his on-field performance lately. Least he isnt havin a joke and waving to cameras

I actually found it to be a refreshing article

Just read the article about what Wayne Carey said about Jack Trengove and his captain situation and I actually think that Wayne is right on the ball with this. His comments seem concerned although positive and hopefully the clubs senior players take note of Careys comments.
