I wouldn't be surprised if sewell and/or o'keefe sign daniel cross style contracts -
outs: mckenzie, m jones, terlich ins: blease, gawn, jkh
-
outs: salem (omit post darwin), barry(if kept needs a full game), gawn(too slow and ineffective), terlich(untidy diaposal because he runs himself into trouble) ins: jetta(served his time), riley(coming off a big performance as inside mid), jkh (picks himself), blease(has earnt his spot)
-
who is the best play maker across half back?
-
http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-07-02/vfl-player-review-round-12 having just read the vfl review it sounds like georgiou might be a chance
-
out: terlich jetta nicho in: mckenzie blease jkh blease must get a run even if only as the sub. has been in the casey bests consistantly and has earnt a chance
-
out: cross, mckenzie, riley, salem in: terlich, blease, michie (sub), evans riley and salem barely had a handfull of touches between them and not for the first time let them go back to casey, rebuild there form for 2-3weeks and kill it upon there return
-
Anyone got more info on Jackson Nelson? I like the sound of Pickett's pace but a proper Birchall/Hanley HBF would be nice.
-
jetta dunn garland frawley mcdonald howe plenty to like about that if we can ever sort out our key forwards
-
riley into the sub vest instead of salem or possibly bring in blease as sub. riley would be stiff to get dropped after just the one game but he prob contributed least on field (except fir that awesome rib cracking tackle) if riley does get dropped then blease has had sevrral weeks of good footy at casry and could provide that extra dash and pace late in the game

cheers for the demonology link, worked a treat even on my mobile

to get coniglio would take a near exact replica of the tyson deal, however... not sure coniglio is worth our top5 pick on his own and i dont think gws will have as many first rnd picks to sweeten the deal rather than go after a specialised mid i would prefer to draft next years kolajazzkneey (good kick rebounding hbf) as this is more and more the area attacking chains begin -
http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-06-12/round-10-casey-scorpions-teams gawn, nicholson and...terlich named for casey. this suggests a bench of mckenzie, riley, salem and kent
-
out: gawn, jkh, salem in: kent, mckenzie, riley i would be happy to try blease for terlich but dont think there will be 4 changes kent- back to back bog= must be picked mckenzie-strung together several weeks of good form, cant ask for much more than 23touches at half time riley- come on as sub to add late game aggression at contests and tackle pressure

between foundation heroes and mitch clark gone it will not be a money issue

seems to be firming into a solid second rounder which is what we will end up paying for him. sounds like an isaac smith type -
ratten and voss were both on the cusp of finals when sacked ratten working at hawks could add the attack after roos' defence
-
if frawley returns we will have 19/22 first choice players available as dawes, hogan and trengove miss through injury/suspension. 3 pretty big outs but it does make this weeks result even more important to track the progress of the group who
-
i dont think toumpas as the sub is workable at this stage. he seems to take a bit of time to settle into games and barring injuries subs dont have that luxury
-
jnr mcdonald to make his triumphant return
-
it was stupid thing to do but no reason to challenge and have him miss 2 will be a big test to see how the firward line goes in his absence
-
frawley for dawes- pretty straight forward toumpas for jetta- there but for a case of the trots, jimmy wasn't quite significant enough to hold the spot salem for evans- kent/michie/mckenzie stiff. evans is a good runner who can play through the mids and kick goals i don't think salem or toump played particularly badly but they did seem to contribute less than others and there have been some massive efforts for casey lately which deserve reward
