  1. Surprise selection at 7?
  2. Out: toumpas, jkh Ins: vince, dawes Brayshaw as sub.
  3. Garland frost jetta Dunn mcdonald grimes Lumumba viney m.jones Bail hogan kent Garlett dawes gawn Jamar n.jones tyson Int: salem, toumpas, newton, jkh, cross, michie, pedersen, mckenzie
  4. With hogan, dawes + third tall it givr Watts a chance to become a handy crumbing forward. He is extremely fast and has very good hands below the knees. Toumpas seems to want to play like isaac smith but at this stage is lacking both speed and endurance
  5. Best inside mid @ pick 40 would be an upgrade
  6. If if #1. McCartin Follow the hype:#2 Petracca #3 Brayshaw Little left field:#2Brayshaw #3Lever Way left field:#2Nakia Cockatoo #3Caleb Daniel I think any combination of the above could pay off however Caleb Daniel will prob still be available at one of our later picks. Going to be really spewing that we bit.ched out with pick#23 if Cockatoo slides
  7. has clisby gone as well as strauss or typo?
  8. i think that he could be a star with a highlight package like that but if he has already lost some speed is it worth taking the punt on what could turn out to be a daniel menzel? i kind of want the MFC to take the safer choice this time around
  9. i dont understand why we would use basically an end of rnd 1 pick for him when we could have gotten him for nothing in the pre-season draft instead? what is the advantage of getting the two later more speculative when pick 23 would have a better chance for success in what i believe has been called an "even-talent pool" at the top end
  10. collingwood went after brisbanes players and there was an instant statement backing their kids... rumours about adam treloar and GWS put out a statement naming him a required player i am extremely disappointed that the MFC didn't take the opportunity to pay back trengoves loyalty imagine instead the headline "MFC sticks true to former captain" imagine an article about the former skipper; after battling the twin issues of ASADA and his season ending navicular injury being told that he is still the future of the club even without the title. being told that he is more important to the club than the random kid we pick with 12. remember when scully didn't sign on but trengove did? can you imagine a club that repayed such loyalty in kind? after all, how does one rebuild a culture?
  11. First in the kicking test 29/30, 5th and 6th in the standing and running vertical leap respectively described in an emma quayle article as very coachable. If we can get petracca@ 2, trade 3 for established gun and billy stretch with our second round pick then i think it would be worth taking a punt on him dedpite his injuries. Massive massive upside edit- emma quayle link http://m.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-draft-combine-harvester-medium-forwards-20141002-10pa6w.html
  12. Jack steele sounds interesting...any phantoms have him getting to second round?
  13. Correction: delisted FA would not affect frawley compo
  14. Please god no! I would much prefer georgiou
  15. I still have faith that we have the makings: Howe hogan jkh watts dawes kent throw pedo, bernie, salem, trengove through there as well and it becomes a matter of delivery
  16. Have to admit i've not seen him play but if he made AA he must be alright. Any chance he could become our rebounding defender in the mould of hanley/birchall?
