I'm not "squealing" as you so delicately put it.....All I am saying that the stronger clubs get stronger and get much better deals than the poorer clubs who need it.....The AFL whinge about how the poorer club can't generate their own cash flow yet provide no fixture to allow them to do this. The equalisation fund give cash hand outs but do not give the opportunity for the lower clubs to generate membership and sponsorship, media profile, ect. I realise that they are so generously helping us out but if all things were equal, maybe they would not have to in the first place. WYL. I am not having a go at Jackson, as I think he may be good for the footy club, I am just sick of fact of being on our bellies and saying "Thank you god almighty AFL for your precious hand me downs"

Further to above.....The AFL are now telling us that they will select the CEO, board, bootstudder, I wonder if they will pay for my membership as well. We are now property of the AFL.

The AFL commission was set up because the clubs were all about the themselves and not for the greater good of the game...Fair enough... It is a non profit organisation there for the betterment of ALL clubs The millions of dollars spent on establishing clubs all around Australia for a truly national competition....Fair enough. What annoys me the most is the unfair way the weaker Victorian clubs are treated. North, the bulldogs, us, are told to manage our clubs better but but are expected to play at the G against interstate teams on mothers day at twilight...Are given no Friday nights games against top sides so that we can generate cash flow, attract sponsers, and corporate members. The MFC has been treated this way for a long time, and I understand the AFL saying that you have to deserve it, and that the broadcasters insist that the big matches are played to maximise audiences. They cannot then say "We have to bail these clubs out all the time". It is because of them that a lot of these clubs are where they are. A Melbourne Vs Hawthorn game at the G at twilight would attract 30 to 40 thousand and help us to become financial. The same game time against GWS lucky to get 10 thousand. And while I at it, I have played and coached local footy and never in my time have any of the local clubs got 1 iota of help from the AFL,not a footy, not a red cent of financial assistance, not even a recognition of grass root footy club struggling to remain in existence. Sorry rant over.......except for the AFL funded trip to the USA for the big wigs...During the season and the Ess saga.

Yes...CS could also talk.......Did a lot of work in the debt demolition.....Attempted to open up more income via the China deal(It failed but he was thinking outside the box at least) A lot of people talk a tough game.....but the proof is the eating of the pudding... Look WYL I am not saying that he is not good for the club as I think he is but I have been hurt before so I will wait until the start of the 2014 season before I gush all over him.....

Words....Words ....Words If he fails WYL.....will you be bemoaning how he stuffed up the club....How he took the money and ran? Lets just wait and see what happens over the off season shall we?

He bloody better not......I am sick of this club bending over....If Roos doesn't want the job he can**** off.......We will have a new coach and coaching panel next year and I will continue to support them all the way....

If it's a good song....One that get the toes tapping and the hearts swelling.....You could play it over the summer months to encourage memberships and get the Melbourne Footy Club in the media during the off season.... Just a thought....

I believe it is a lottery.....There are so many examples of this throughout the draft system that I can't mention them all There are the No.1 picks that so many supporters believe that they will be stars that just don't measure up to that billing......There are so many later drafts picks that become really really good players.... Not having a go at you but where you are drafted is not important....It's only the supporters expectations....

Geez OD....You seem obsessed with draft positions.....Once you are drafted you are part of the list and then it's up to you wether you get a game or not Just because you were drafted at pos 21 or 101 does not mean anything....only supporters expectations....

Can someone please tell me who MFC has traded in, who has been a star??? Beside Mitch Clark(and the jury is out and injuries) I cannot think of anyone off the top of my head... I don't know why everyone is besotted with trades?????

I couldn't care a less if Roos coaches or not...... Him and Lyon ( the StK & Freo one) ruined footy for me...I hate the way they coach(we only kicked 3 goals but kept them to 2)The fully defensive mind set..Yep we might win a few but two and a half hours of rugby like play is just so boring to watch. Stone me if you want to but I go to the footy to watch the fast attacking sport that I have loved for many years......AFL is now glorified rugby.....Thanks to these two....

Col had a pretty poor season last year....In 2011 he was 5th in kicks for the club 5th in Handballs 5th in handball received 2nd in tackles 2nd in inside 50's 2nd in hardball gets I don't have the stats for this year but it has been an improvement on last year....He has played a lot of good games in the year from hell I know everybody wants him to be Gary Ablett or Chris Judd.....but he's not And it's very hard to fly with eagles when you play for a side that has been smashed as we have earlier this year.... Just get off his back.

There is still things in football and they are called injuries.......They happen all the time........It would be great to have traded Fitz and then discover that Clark can't come back from his injury........

All this Roos talk is worrying me.......All this talk of the messiah ......What if he turns out to be the Malcom Blight of St Kilda fame What if all he proves is that it is the list not the coach.....
