I can't understand the VFL......Why have a full bye 4 weeks into a season......If they want to be a feeder comp to the AFL they should follow the afl fixture to some extent.....Otherwise clubs will have their own reserves side and have their own comp.....which will destroy the VFL comp...

So that means that when Barassi took over at Carlton he should have been sacked because the results in his first two years he failed......When he came to MFC as a successful coach he failed to get the club above 8th on the ladder...Sometimes you HAVE to have faith and to work hard to get the results......Otherwise every coach that fails to get into the finals ....should be sacked??????

Neeld has not been here for 7 years......He has been here for 1 and a 1/4......He took on a basket case and stated when he first arrived that it would take 3 years to even resemble an AFL side......He also brought in one of the people that is accredited for StKilda's three grand final appearances......Many here think he should go now.....but very few can tell me who will replace him and the football dept...1/4 through the year....Will you be yelling for the next coach to be sacked when he loses the first 5 games next year??? Think a bit long term....and not instant success.......

No not just wallow along......Steadily improve.....and I couldn't give a continental what the AFL want to be quite honest.....The AFL are not a dictatorship....and last time I looked the MFC is a democratic organisation....All members have a right to vote in their elections and board....The AFL are a non profit organisation to help and guide clubs.....

Mate we are 6 games into a season....very bad start I will agree....but the is 18 games to go.....Is it not to much to ask that a coach gets this time to refine the team, get it to gel, improve over this time?? Members and supporters will nearly always watch their team on the tele...The TV networks buy a package....They know that there will be crap games every week..but rely on the blockbuster games to compensate....How good was it watching Pt vs GWS last year?????....compare it to Ess vs Coll.....What guarantees can you give that a new coach will succeed??????

He has a contract till the end of next year......If he goes the FD will go as well......The club will be paying out more contracts and then have to throw a lot more money for an established coach......Let him play out his contract and then make a decision on him....Just makes sense....

I have never said that I 'know"......So... Just your opinion...a bit of a feeling????...Frawley is contracted if he really wants to go he will be traded to whoever WE want....He could end up at GWS or GC....Moloney and Rivers were free agents.....

I think that they have up till Saturday if they want to upgrade him and name him in the side.....

Sorry Mate......I switched off during Roo's Swans reign ...It was the most boring football I have seen.....I was not entertained at all....but it didn't stop them from winning a flag...AFL CEO said the same thing.....Time it will take time....but keep in there WYL...it will happen...

I think we have improved....Just little things WYL.....Even last week Carlton struggled to get it clear without pressure by the lads(not all the time but you could see what they were doing)....It will take time to gel but I think we are heading on the right track for once....

The club is just letting members know what is going on......How can this be a bad thing....You would be the fist to complain if members weren't informed.....So negative.....

Neeld has had 1 year....2 preseasons.......He is not responsible for the past 6-7 years......I can see what he is attempting to do.....and if we sack him now and pay out all the contracts and pay huge money for an established coach (who by the way cannot guarantee success)This club will suffer 6-7 more years of pain....

So how are the Doggies going........Less members.......Less money......In debt....about 2 to 3 mil....But the AFL are just worried about us???? They are obviously pulling their weight........

And a new coach would just click his fingers and all of a sudden we would be a finals side......To long????? Geezzz.....He has been contracted to change this club's culture and fitness to bring it up to AFL standard.......And he hasn't done it in one year.....He must be bad.......
