Geez! I love Preseason.......... 1500/1 definitely under the odds. What do you think the odds will be when we get our first injury during preseason training?

It's quite amazing NOT. Most if not all the salary cap breaches were committed by CEO's and / or admin staff with at least "Accountancy 101" I'm no Business Guru, but I can add up and get 1+1 =2 The only way you can get something different is by cheating or you are dumb. Any official who is party to such cheating, should be run out of the respective clubs and never allowed to work in a sporting environment. If they didn't cheat, then the DUMB rule should be invoked. Same result as cheating.

We have just lost a backman from the leadership group. The majority seem to want to get rid of another. That leaves just 1 ---- Frawley. I reckon give Tommy McD a crack, It's very important in his overall improvement.

I've just been watching the Foxtel repeats games against GWS & GC this season. The game especially against GWS showcased the defensive game that Neeld was trying to instil. Now I know you will say that we were playing against kids. But I say have a look at the way we went about doing it. Add to this the amount of experience we have added to our list and I can only see a huge amount of improvement. A couple of years ago Sean Wellman improved the backline so much that it was rumoured that they were knocking on the door to being the best backline in the league. Mark Neeld has improved the defensive game plan all over the ground. It may take a year or two to get it right, but from what I saw in the low intensity game on display,.he is on he right track. Never have I seen that amount of defensive pressure all over the ground. I would appreciate your learned opinions.

I personally don't think we tanked under the very vague definition. But at the end of this year when our ex Captain played his last game at the "G" A very close member of his family who was "very emotionally charged" come three quarter time, let everyone know within earshot, exactly what she thought of the club. It didn't take mathematics to put one and one together to realise she wasn't going to let it end there. Disgruntled family members can be more destroying than disgruntled players. Especially if someone significant is within earshot.

Meh! I am alluding to National Draft. We only have 6 spaces to fill our list including 2 rookies. That means 4 required on primary list. Even if we pick what we could from the National Draft we would only use #4 #49 #53 #70 Therefore the following picks would be a pass 73 74 88 But assuming we may even get someone from the Delisted FA that would mean #70 becomes redundant as well. I don't know whether you followed the Gillette Draft or not. But we gave 88 to PA for Rodan PA gave that pick 88 to WCE for Lewis Stephenson WCEgave that pick 88 back to Melbourne for Cale Morton So hence the unwanted pick 88 not even going to be used.

BB I don't know about McLardy, But CS & CC if anyone, certainly will be singled out. CS was obviously told last year when they did the post season review to keep his nose out of the FD business. CC was replaced as Football Manager and put into a marketing role, again to keep his nose out of FD business. Apparently there is a 6 month payout clause in CS 3 year engagement. CC would not be a loss.
