I just feel that the HBF never gets the respect it deserves. Someone who butchers the ball and doesn't have a good footy brain will be shown up very quickly!

Is Joel McDonald Scottish? Is Ronald McDonald Scottish? Am I pretending to be Scottish? No. Although I like a drink and a fist fight like the Scottish do. How do I change my name?! -
Oh yeah Inbetweeners- awesomely funny the boys mesh so well together lol. Briefcase [censored]! An Idiot abroad- GOLD! Karl Pilkington is my idol he has the most twisted view on everything, he is a comic genius without meaning it. Listened to his podcasts with Ricky and Steve? Yeah you have to watch all of Peep show- one of those comedies with the gut busting tear jerking laughs... This is a thread about dinner with Neeld hey? Lol! Seems like you and I have the same taste in comedies!

It's funny how people always say that the HBF is the easiest position to play. Put a spud there. See how that goes..

Posters who assume the role of famous figure and fail to do that character justice. -

Having a bex and a lie down is one of my favourite pastimes! Rhino Richards pulling you into line. So cliched and I hate it! -
you need a good shot of testosterone son man up!

No chance. Didn't a few of the boys laugh when $ully tripped over in the car park one day? At least Ablett acheived something with his team mates. $ully showed nothing but contempt for his team mates. They do have a reason to hate him after flying the flag for him all year- just to have him skip out on us and not even have the gumption to tell us to our faces of his impending abandonment. And that's what it was- an abandonment.. didn't even come to say goodbye, or thanks for the development and help with the bung knee. In short he is a user!

Wasn't he the QAFL player of the year if memory serves me?

2011 Player Review - # 47 James Strauss
Jesse Christ replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Strauss epitomises that old adage that some players just take more time. Many of us almost gave up on the young lad. Well Strauss is a good case in point that sometimes you have to trust the recruiters as they know a lot more about the caper than us part time observers. Injury in the most unfortunate of timing, hopefully he can resume services mid season and pick up where he left off. His beautiful kicking technique would be an asset to any club. -
Love him. People seem to remember his endurance and tagging attributes- I remember his pinpoint passes and occasional shows of flashy plays. He can move this boy, has a few tricks. How the hell did we get him at 70 or whatever it was? Good times. Pretty hot too!

Not only will they be the most hated team going around- they also seem like the most unprofessional team and they haven't even played a NAB cup match, let alone a proper home and away fixture. Lol. That's what you get for handing the reigns to Sheeds and the Gubster. Neurotic emotional types in charge of a new franchise- GWS needs everything to go perfect for them to be some sort of hope and so far everything has turned to shite. Loving it! Cannot wait for the ensuing massacres in season 2012. Can't wait till all their young draftees abandon them as soon as they get the chance. Joke club who will hand us the easiest 8 points in the history of VFL/AFL... "Giant" fail lol.

Looks like we have another Frawley on our hands. Gotta be happy with that! Good body on body, good set of mits and not afraid to go back with the flight, can also read the play well. What's that? He's a skinny kid who won't be a regular part of the team until he bulks up a bit? Just shut the hell up.

Col Sylvia suspended for Round 1, 2012
Jesse Christ replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
Good. I only wish we had the cattle to cover him so we could send him to the cauldrons for 5 weeks! Little excessive for this type of crime? Perhaps.. It's not about punishment for this incident it's about letting him know we're fed up with his constant erratic behavior. It's about letting him know if he doesn't conform he can watch his mates play from the stands. It's about sending a message. That message, plain and simply is; grow up! -
Why don't they just start the news earlier? I wont watch the seven news as a little protest. I won't be dictated to or manipulated. I suggest others follow suite.

Round 6-11 looks like a hard slog. A bye before GWS looks like a bit of a waste- and North at Etihad after Darwin would be locked in as a loss. Fremantle round 16 & final round 23-away looks tough. Not a bad run home though- round 19-22 looks doable. Looks tougher than last year but still 10 MCG games out of the first 15 rounds can't be sniffed at.

Was he always a different egg though? Or is he viewed this way because of the nature of his defection. He never seemed to be the warmest of personalities but that was put down to being uber-professional and just wanting to get on with footy. Who will ever know? I would have picked Scully at number 1 and I- like many others on this forum and indeed the MFC would have and did get shafted, but there was no way to forecast this and I don't know how we can ensure they wont defect in the future, short of asking them. Is that considered proper? I don't knowl.
-
Umm I have to pull you up on that- we didn't chose badly as Scully was the standout! What transpired after we drafted him was inconceivable. An unforseen set of circumstances saw him taken from us. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worst. We did get shafted though, that's the message people should be remembering But resentment makes you bitter, so I'm focusing on the positives and look forward to Melbourne vs GWS where we can exercise our right to say our goodbyes to the Sculldog, as he never really gave us that opportunity when he decided to (lol) jump ship to GWS.
-
Yeah but they haven't even kicked a footy yet lol! By the way how is post #23 acceptable when so many of mine were deleted. Do you deem #23 witty do you?
-
So the Scull dog left us because he was unhappy with the level of professionalism at the club right....? LOL how embarrassing
