'Mo threads, nickname threads... someone has really bashed that arrogant attitude out of you haven't they?
-
Anyone else think it will be harder for Jurrah to crack the team next year, given what we know about Neeld and the emphasis he is placing on accountability etc, OR maybe he gets a free pass as an average of 3 goals a game on the G with our previous lackluster forward set up would only improve now?
-
And maybe Demetriou will greet everyone at the gates next year with a handshake and a howdy do..

Late Breaking News ... Leon Davis agrees to join Demons
Jesse Christ replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
You're not accusing RR of being some kind of attention seeker are you? lol -
And that is exactly why it is in trouble. Is it in trouble?

Possibilities in no particular order; Judd, Murphy, Swan, Pendlebury, Mitchell, Ablett et al take your pick. Would love to see Mitchell get it!

You can get away with being skinny if you have a crack.

I feel he sold his sole and credibility to Western Sydney.. Trengove has as good a shot as any though. Maybe Viney, obviously depending on how he steps up to AFL level. We only get to chose midfielders right? That's how this fickle award plays out these days hey?
-
Lol, height isn't everything. Where are the small forwards? Your "big hard team" has Morton in it. Really? Yet Tapscott doesn't make the grade... and no McKenzie. You don't pick a team from the stats sheet. You want a "hard" team you make players earn their spots by displaying hardness. Skills help too, like others have said some players need to earn their stripes before automatic selection. Talk about discriminating against the little guy lol

Lynden Dunn's Moustache ... Yay or Nay?
Jesse Christ replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
What an amazing thread! -
Someone just needs to tie this kid down to a chair and force feed him KFC or something, seeing as he is supposedly such a "fussy eater." Well toughen up sunshine, If you want to put on some size you need to eat! Enough with mummy cutting the crust off your triangle sandwiches and aeroplaning it into your mouth, eat a steak princess. Regardless of size, he never goes for the 50/50 ball anyway. So until this changes it doesn't really matter if he stays stick figure-like or not.

Rejuvenated best 22 after trade and draft
Jesse Christ replied to Dee1987's topic in Melbourne Demons
Then there's Viney next year, and he will be an instant start, so a mid better step up or GTFO and make way for that little berserker. Going to love not seeing us getting pushed around and bullied so much on the field anymore. Go Dees -
LOL, what a little sook! Nice cheap shot McChins.. I hope like hell they take Pendles, and I hope like hell McChins harbours a vendetta against GWS for the rest of his life. How childish!
-
You are joking if you think $ully has any vested interest in our club or our captain. He checked out Nov 2010, clearly.

Phil Scully offered GWS gig in November 2010!
Jesse Christ replied to bing181's topic in Melbourne Demons
Unlikely. Actually all that weight going through his joints I'd be surprised if Phil wasn't growing his own diamonds. Which he will no doubt harvest and sell to the highest bidder later on. What a tasteless affair this has turned out to be. Tom will forever be known as a lier, there is no refuting that now. He has traded in his integrity and $ullied his family name for a quick buck. Never to be trusted again! -
$ulldog leaving because of internal disharmony to go to GWS would have to be the biggest [censored] move in history. Look at us now- with Neeld, Craig and Misson at the helm we are in the best shape I have ever witnessed. Tom wanted to go to the GWS rabble and they both deserve each other. The irony is that in the current shape we are in, Sully would have thrived. Now he dies an inconspicuous death in Black Town. Cest la vie, Au revouir, thank your mother for the rabbits- I shed no tears.
-
I've always wondered this. I wonder if Neeld would have agreed to re-sign Morton. I can't see him being able to stand up in finals.

It's my birthday and on this joyous occasion I bought myself some bananas. You may think I jest but Safeway 5.79 a kg says why the bloody hell not to me!

But then there will be the kids who display dishonest body language but it is only their nerves coming through. Unfortunately you can only start speculating on a kids loyalty when they start doing speculative things, like holding out on contract negotiations. Even then they could only be trying to maximise their contracts as any self serving person with half a brain would be doing. There is no way to safeguard against a future Scully, short of asking them if they are going to be a Demon for life. And I think that question is unfair. Alas such is life.
