  1. I would of thought it starts with pro and ends in stitution.
  2. a player becomes unrestricted when he has served a designated amount of years to one club, he can pretty much go where he wants. a restricted player has also played a certain amount of years but the club he is playing for has the right to match a rivals offer in monotery terms. if that happens they stay put. jake lever was out of contract after about three years and wanted to come home, this is when all the trade toing and froing takes place and that's why we gave up what we did to get him. the players fought for this in the last agreement a few years ago. I may be wrong but restricted is after six seasons, unrestricted after eight. something like that.
  3. especially when you have no idea of the difference between 'out of contract', 'unrestricted', and 'restricted' players. all three are in some way different to the others. FFS
  4. Correct, and those who keep slagging of our footy dept for having a crack should follow nth Melb .
  5. would a payed up member need to ask the address?????? let it go mate, bring on 2018
  6. nope, they understand theres more to afl than being a top bloke and being great with supporters and their kids.
  7. so you would of liked them to totally [censored] to everyone?????? I think they where done with jackyboy hiding behind the soft shoe shuffle that previous footy departments had laid out for him. sometimes its just a case of enough is enough.
  8. why don't you explain to us all EXACTLY how you would of asked jack to look else where without the media knowing about it.
  9. that's personal info, but I can tell you he came 3rd in peels b&f, only played 7 games with 6 bog's and he's only 20.
  10. about right. everytime the footy department makes calls on blokes careers its them putting their balls on the line, and not unlike putting ya hard urn on a bet, once its done, its done. as they say in the classic's, LET IT RIDE.
  11. I totally agree dappa. Blokes like Sicily have taken more pack marks in a season than jackyboy in nine years. A ripping bloke though.
  12. For mine, the alarm bells have been ringing since our no 1 pick after having five or six years in the system, had to drop himself. How the f&$k does that happen.?? How about just work harder and get a bloody hard ball or two, it's not rocket science.
  13. i posted a couple of weeks ago that sculls was long gone, my mail was sos +1. The +1 is very tight with sos and a good mate with myself. He also knew about the adelaide bloke about a month before it was a rumour. Thats good enough for me, if its not right, so be it, but like i said last time, the only thing i'm [censored] off about is the compensation. To put two years into a number 1 pick and get @#$%all is a disgrace!!!!!!
  14. The Scully saga is over for me fellers, I know I cant prove anything on this forum, But like most of you, I went through the going balistic stage, then have been hoping that he might stay stage, but I've had it put to me recently by someone who would know that not only is tom going, he's long, long gone. Now it seems so obvious why he has never shown one bit of emotion whilst singing the club song, even after the few good wins we've had this year. At the time I didn't think the cats got enough for Ablett, and unfortunately we probably won't get enough for Tom. You can shout me down about not naming names ect ect, but I'm just giving you the heads up because I read the forum nearly everyday, and I know how dedicated most of you blokes are. Remember, leaks are human nature, apparently those in the know think it's common knowlegde anyway!
