Pretty much spot on, I reckon!
-
That's all true, but I think 'wasted' was a touch too strong in describing his career over there. He did win a B&F in a strong side, and won showdown medals etc as far as I can recall. He was fairly integral to their midfield and it was a strong one!

No, that's correct, you can't. And what I think is that there is no need for such unrelenting and all-consuming meanness, negativity and whining.

I don't think so. Clearly the balance of power in this employer/employee relationship is with the employee. The same as every other organisation that is trying to retain the best talent - you have to be a place where people want to work...
-
But deep down, you don't really, judging but the last 20 pages of rubbish I've just trawled through on this thread.

Jeremy Cameron reported for high contact
Undeeterred replied to The Backyard Charizard's topic in Melbourne Demons
And of course Sam Mitchell, who smashes someone square in the face, gets off scot free. One of the dirtiest players in the league, behind Hodge and not many others. -

It doesn't actually look that bad to be honest. I reckon he and Pedo will both get a week. Win for us, in the end. -
Definitely will go. Looked worse than it was, but he hit him borderline high and had plenty of chance to back out. It's exactly what they are trying to stop.
-
Sorry, but you must be joking.
-
He called Harmes Oliver, Wagner and something else before getting him right...
-
Tackling has been sensational. Literally the first time I can remember us playing like this.
-
So anyone see Tom McDonald stick it on Jack Watts's chest from 50m away?
-
Now Harmes is Wagner. This is dreadful.
-
Just called Harmes Oliver too. Sack Sandy.

Burn the bloody place to the ground, I say.

This captures the whole sorry saga in four lines. And I agree - he's done.

Gee, that video brings back some childhood memories! Really, when you see that team, which included Jimmy, Garry Lyon, Schwarta, Stinger, the Lovetts, Todd Viney, the Febeys. They were certainly the glory days of supporting Melbourne for me. Is it any wonder, when you watch how they played, why guys like Jimmy, Garry and The Ox get so facking frustrated at the shambles that we became? God, in the last 10 years, it is only a couple of those Bailey wins that even come close to the thrill of watching clips like that.
-
Ambiguous? He's impacting really well already, and not many people would have pulled him out of the pool at no 4. Not sure why that's so hard to work out from my post Song!

Oliver was an inspired pick
-
Jack Watts turns it over twice - a real shame because he is presenting brilliantly and taking lots of strong marks.
-
All knees in tact. Good to see we are really pushing forward hard too when we get it. It just comes back quickly the other way when it goes pear shaped.
-
Pretty scrappy so far, and Max Gawn has been beaten a couple of times already...

Nope. Not one little bit. -
Mitch Clark - did we dodge a bullet?
Undeeterred replied to thesleepinggiant's topic in Melbourne Demons
Didn't dodge a bullet. But for that foot injury, who knows. If he stayed healthy, he would be an absolute monster for us and did some incredible things. I don't care where he plays or even whether he does, but we definitely lost out here.
