  1. North. I'd just love to smash them in a GF
  2. North and St. Kilda We just have to spank them at some point soon.
  3. Sorry, but to suggest that Jamar is anything but finished is (1) revisionist and (2) delusional.
  4. So odd, it is just absolutely none of anybody else's business. Why do people have such a sense of ownership about this kind of thing?
  5. Nope, me too.
  6. Nobody is forcing you to fork over anything mate.
  7. I'd spew if we gave up anything more than a pick for Melksham, who clearly wants to come here. Dawes might be a touch on the spud side, I do think he is nevertheless underrated on here,
  8. The club stuck by him because it was in the club's best interests to do so. Honestly, if you think the club is just a benevolent society for blokes with multiple knee injuries that they keep paying because they feel sorry for them, you are living in la-la-land.
  9. You're right, very good point. Maybe one more... We might be fine, it just feels like the younger players are getting a bit cooked and it will be really interesting to see whether we've improved or fallen off a bit when we get the return bout against St. Kilda next week. I guess my point was more that not taking advantage of those opportunities a few weeks ago might mean we end up really disappointed in the final wash up of this season.
  10. I bet Roos is absolutely spewing we aren't sitting 12th on 7 wins, especially as we tire coming into the end of the season. I reckon the young kids are knackered and if we don't get over the Saints, we'll struggle to get another win locked away this year.
  11. We knocked off Adelaide too last year and everybody creamed themselves, despite it meaning practically nothing in the long run.
  12. The two of you both need to realise that simply quoting the same bloody stuff at each other ad nauseum doesn't actually convince anyone of anything. Just agree to disagree and get over it
  13. Of course you're allowed to say that, but you'll just get shouted down by the sensible people who actually have watched his progress this year and noted how much more value he is providing. It isn't that hard to see, and there is absolutely no way he is being delisted this year (and I don't even know if he is out of contract).
  14. Imagine going to a pub with this guy. What a drainer!
  15. And St Kilda struggled to put us away, whereas Collingwood's class held us out all day. They just too many weapons who bob up when the others are down.
  16. True re Collingwood, I just think they consistently have more class than us and they are a bit too far ahead of us (ie, we didn't really look like winning on QB although we did ok). I'm not even confident about the annual Essendon smashing this year.
  17. Carlton, Brisbane and maybe St Kilda again are the only games we have a good chance in. Perhaps the Bulldogs. I only see 2-3 more wins this year, max. You're dreaming if you are pumping up Collingwood and the Giants at Etihad as serious potential wins.
  18. I don't think it's just hammies, to be honest. I think people are more starting to get concerned about the fact that we repeatedly have an extensive injury list full of players with mystery injuries that don't seem to get better in any reasonable period of time.
  19. Schooled him. Well done, Nasher.
  20. He is playing like he is old and tired. When he is required to chase, it is most obvious.
  21. Do I hear the clattering hooves of a personal hobby horse?
  22. You've got it utterly wrong on Garlett, Hogan, Spencer, Dunn, Garland and McDonald. Speaking of comical efforts.
  23. I don't think I've done anything but defend Watts forever, but today was my straw that broke the camels back. It is fine to say he cops it, and he did some quite nice things, but he had a real stinker overall. A real shame. Bail gone next week. If we could, Dunn would go too. He had about the worst game I've seen him play, and the fact he led the team in touches means nothing. That idiotic torp was the three seconds where the game shifted, and it was over. We should have learnt the Frawley lesson, and should stick Howe at Casey for the rest of the year. He's gone for absolute sure. Toumpas was good and ran hard again - he will be persisted with and is finding his feet. Garland was wonderful down back. Spencer started well but faded. However, he laid a couple of really brilliant tackles and was rewarded. Jamar is done, and I think Gawn has been put back quite a bit. Can't believe I'm saying that. Jones just has to play through a tag. Or he needs support. The fact that Brayshaw was the only one that stood up, and that we got virtually nothing from Vince and the like, says a lot. McDonald was servicable and had a few really effective spoils. What I loved was seeing him running through CHB and hitting up leading targets, so he is clearly feeling confident enough to get his run going. Only made one bad error, kicking to Toumpas one-on-one in the back half and not giving him a chance. Grimes had another really solid game and is looking so much freer. His kicking has improved and the weight is clearly off his shoulders. And Hogan. Get him up here. I wanna boof him (borrowed from Bill Lawry...).
