The pair come in to the side for Jayden Hunt and Adam Tomlinson, who were both omitted.

It would be more accurate to call it the 'Ben Buckley Buggered' (BBB) regime Nasher. As I understand it, the facts are these: Scott told BBB when he arrived as Chair in 2017 that the list needed a significant overhaul and that Norf would need to drop down the ladder as older players were gradually moved on and new top 10 picks could come in. Scott wanted to trade out The Big Goldie as a first round pick was on the table from another club. At that stage it looked like the Big Braydon Preuss could take over the number one ruck role. Apparently Goldie was open to it. Scott told BBB and Carl Delena he'd squeezed as much out of the lemon as possible. Norf's response was as follows: No way we can fall down the ladder and restock, The list isn't that bad, Goldie's not going anywhere, Rye's recons he can delivery preliminary finals. BBB left the club looking like a war zone. And to think he was once considered a potential candidate to become CEO of the AFL.
