100 percent this. Bowling fast and accurately at first class level is much harder than kicking a goal at AFL level from 35 metres out on a 35 degree angle. Yet most first class, and certainly test level, fast bowlers (except English ones) can hit a folded handkerchief from 22 yards with their chest 90 degrees on. That goal kicking 'is difficult' is one of the great lies told by aussie rules players to other aussie rules players.
