Layzie they are pathetic been top dog pampered supporters in this town for so long with local media who up until recently never dared to really challenge their club.

Yes was a great day I was at the other end with the cheer squad. My son went down to the fence to hopefully get a footy but missed out. When he came back up to me I happily showed him one I marked which big Maxy threw in. The train journey home was interesting played it's a Grand old flag on my phone only for a couple of Meth Coast supporters to tell me to thank the umps to which I replied yes of course I forgot every you lose its down to the umpires never anything to do with your side. To which a woman late 50s/early 60s said that's nasty and I just politely said really is it that difficult to just say we were beaten by the better team on the day. I had 4 kids with me 3 of whom were Meth Coast supporters with their colours on and I think the woman was quite embarrased with my reply and the fact I didn't react in appropriate manner to her comment

For all those young Dees, I really hope results go our way next week to earn a home final and you get to experience the MCG roar of the Dees breaking such a long finals drought. I still remember the roar against North in our first final in 87, what a day that was and what a ride it was until we just fell short in the Prelim. Childhood memories Go Dees

12 Long Painful Years Finals - At Last!!

The omen I thought of all week was it Finals ended in Perth against Freo in 06 and we clinched our next finals appearance in Perth -
Spargos running and repeat efforts show why he plays over Garlett Great aerial work in contests by Weid
-
To Saberfang and the other clowns who spent the entire week bagging the playing group, about time you all had some faith, it won't happen this year but we are heading in the right direction. Massive effort today by all and showed mental toughness when they fought to get the lead back

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 22

He gut runs enough for me, will be a good asset, but he is looking tired -
I'm sure Rjay you were told when you were younger don't argue with an idiot. Any chance to have a dig at Lewis he will take. Eallace played in Hawks flags and so did Lewis, somewhere there is relevance to him in his posts

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 22

Just guessing we'll wear the navy blue jumper with the red back, white shorts and red socks -
Players of Robbies talent would be even better today, just imagine him on the outside of our current inside ball winners. We know Hogan and Tmac would be smiling every time he hit them on the chest
-
Don't worry we have them but they are all the younger brigade Clarrie - he like Diesel will do it without a lot of fanfare just makes things look easy. Brayshaw- just starting to get near the point when he'll consistently put patches together of winning vital clearances and changing games regularly like we did against the Crows a few weeks ago in the 3rd Viney - we know what he can do and his influence but just need him on the park. Gawn - his tap work is immense and when Brayshaw, Viney and Clarrie are all in there consistently you will see Max having a big influence Salem - may surprise some but his disposal is elite and injuries to others have forced us to rotate him through the middle a lot less than we would like Trac - has the potential and put a decent month together. Like others has been affected by injuries forcing us to play him through the middle more often then we would like

Agree a lot of the problems come with greater exposure. There are the odd exception to the rule in terms of coming straight in and making your mark at this level but many Deelanders underestimate the benefits if players reaching the 80+ game mark

Hogan 2018 season over with foot injury
Pennant St Dee replied to Lord Ivanhoe's topic in Melbourne Demons
Meth Coast KPD's Mcgovern and Barrass aren't great at ground level. As others have said be less predictable Tmac and a medium mobile forward line may be the way to go if not bring in Weid to play deep on Barrass and try and force Mcgovern to do what he hates and run with Tmac -
Wanted: The Hail Mary Kick-in with 1 minute to go
Pennant St Dee replied to TGR's topic in Melbourne Demons
Enough said I'll refrain from commenting again Frost to take a kick in, absolutely clueless -
For the love of God, Salem was on Papley time and time again he was drawn towards the stoppage/ball coming inside 50 with Papley only to lose concentration and body contact with Papley who dropped out the back. Similar to Trac not running hard enough with Heeney when running back to our defensive 50

It's a shame Salem was picking up Papley Just clarify you expext Frost to take the kick in, if the answer to that is yes, however long you've been watching footy has been wasted -

Is that the Henderson kick which went 40m (kicked from the top of the square) and went straight to Vince and Melksham on the RHFF only to be butchered by Vince not taking a mark. The OP was started by a Lewis detractor who takes one thing from Lewis's game FCS of all the things which went wrong yesterday this is not one to highlight. Watch the tape again Sydney absolutely clogged the corridor. If I had to chose between Lewis and Jones making a decision and holding their nerve there's only 1 clear choice -
Out: Pedo, AVB, Spargo & Hunt In: Hibberd, Kent, Hannan and Melksham B: Jetta Frost Hibberd HB: Lewis Omac Salem C. Harmes Oliver Kent HF: Trac TMac Melksham F: Garlett Hogan Fritsch R: Gawn, Brayshaw & Tyson I/C: Jones, Hannan, JKH & ANB

I'm actually not on the wating Meth Coast to beat Port bus, I'm about making our own destiny and if we play our best we should beat Sydney and a Meth Coast without Gaff, Nicnat and Possibly Kennedy(retirement is not farxaway). Like 87, 98 and 00 finish strong boys and build on the momentum
