  1. No stay on your man, simple.
  2. Smith is on the blues best crumber, defence 101 in this scenario is to be able to touch him at all times. It's not actually that difficult
  3. It will all be sorted soon enough, Bombets will have Stephen Dank working on a vaccine
  4. Let's not rewrite history to suit the narrative Our defence badly needed fixing, defence is what wins you premierships, we went on a nice run in 2018 without Hogan but let's be honest we weren't really up there with the top 3 other sides. and and here are some facts Hogan wanted to get back to Perth, Melbourne did not move him on, but they saw an opportunity to fix our biggest deficiency. Watts needed to be moved and you will find a big call and say was made by the leadership group, in this. A big statement re committment by senior players was required

    Brayshaw is not from WA
  6. 6. Trac- was the difference they couldn't touch him 5. Clarrie- pretty much beat Crips for all but 10mins, used the ball well today 4. Gawn - set it up early with silver service and was important with intercept marks behind the footy 3. Hunt - proved his selection was worthy with 3 snags and covering a lot of ground 2. Langdon- ran hard provided a link and was very important at running back to shut down Blues quick rebound in the last 1.Rivers - made good decisions was composed with the ball and wasn't afraid to break the lines
  7. Absolutely got out of jail. Some poor efforts by senior players. I'll take the 4 points, plenty of negatives and plenty of positives but don't think the lucky win was lost on the playing group.
  8. Yes it was on the broadcast I watched, it was ling it was just a blast to let them know he wasn't happy
  9. Agree, would even consider throwing Tmac back and dropping Smith B. Jetta May Lever HB. Rivers Tmac Salem C. Langdon Viney Tomlinson HF. Vanders Jackson Jones(lucky) F. Fritsch Weid Kossie R. Gawn, Oliver Trac I/C. Harmes, Bennell, Brayshaw, Hunt In. Kossie, Vanders, Weid Out. Smith, Melk(rocket), ANB (unlucky was good)
  10. FFS he gave the team aan absolute serve, hence why there was little interest in singing the song IMO
  11. He would have liked that
  12. I think we are safe Swyl by virtue of them needing 16 teams for decent TV rights deal. We've come a long way since 2012 but need to continue and not rest on our laurels
  13. Yes ET, that is correct he had a very good 1st season but either way didn't deserve some of the responses but BBP and others of his ilk just continues to show a complete lack of class
  14. Let's see Jeff's position when review and restructure sees Suns being moved to Tassie impacting Hawks $$$
  15. Disappointing from both players, I was young once and did stupid things, so understand but I wasn't in their position. Not a hanging offence but still a mark against them Some of the comments on here toward Spargo are disgraceful and some of you should hang your heads in shame. Nobody should ever wish anything but the best for the players
  16. Please AFL 25 min quarters 60 interchange a game(15 a quarter) War of attrition freeing up space
  17. Being undersize down back and Salem's lack of awareness to his direct opponent also concerns me down back especially with a debutante in Rivers likely to play across HB On the positive side we shouldn't be done for pace

The Jamie Bennell pick over Sloane was the kicker in this draft
  19. I wanted to put Vanders in to Dazzle, just not sure they'll go with he and Bennell
  20. B. Jetta May Hibberd HB. Salem Omac Lever C. Langdon Gus Tomlinson HF. Melk Tmac Trac F. Fritsch Weid Kossie R. Gawn, Clarry, Viney I/C. Jones, Harmes, Bennell, Nibblet EMG. Smith, Vanders, Jackson
  21. Checker Hughes - changed culture brought 4 flags and made us Demons Norm - needs no explanation Robbie Flower- shining light through dark times along with god given football ability Jim Stynes - club stalwart on the ground and driving force behind the debt demolition, which sees we still exist Missing out RDB - great player but can't single him out from those great sides, his coaching greatness was elsewhere Neiter - most games, most games as skipper and most goals
  22. Not that nice that's our once in 5 year home game against Geelong with no gate ir coterie income. 2021-25 all back down to the cattery
  23. Pennant St Dee replied to w00dy's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Not the right time, the people and nation currently have other focuses and priorities
  24. Neiter probably takes Norms position at Full forward
  25. There have been some terrible posts on this site over the years but this goes beyond poor. Even if meant as tongue in cheek it is still a very poor post. I hope for your sake you regret posting it, if not you need serious help
