  1. Sorry Roger, outside of PSA and state games, my WAFL Colts viewing over the last 18 months wasn’t great.
  2. Warner, Woewodin, Motlop all SOR boys and all private schools.
  3. Jed Hagan definitely one to watch, his desire to work himself into the ground with repeat efforts is like nothing I have seen since Ben Cousins. Just accumulates and racks up possessions due to pure workrate
  4. Not sure Sprigg has stopped growing and could be wrong but think he’ll be around the 200+ range now. Watched him playing for Wesley College, shot up a fair bit in the last 12/18 months. Was the dominant ruckman in PSA this season, with good skills for a big man. Has nice soft hands at the tap and a nice bit of mongrel. Having said all that I believe he may be being highly sought after the WACA and cricket Australia as a fast bowler
  5. and Tigers have 3 picks coming in the next 9, they could replenish very nicely
  6. My youngest played against JVR's younger brother this year and he was an absolute joy to watch playing. Smooth mover, penetrating kick. JVR himself as I said previously is an excellent backman and IMO has shown enough to think he has a very high ceiling as a forward
  7. Nobody who actually seen him play was excited in anyway about Kobe. I doubt without the lineage he’d even be playing WAFL Colts. As you acknowledge 2 very different players and I dare say with the WAF Colts, PSA, State games and combine testing Taj has put together over the last 18/20 months a club would have picked him.
  8. I like him as a defender because he has great footy IQ and good foot skills for a big player. He will be a very good defender. However I also think his ceiling could be extremely high as a forward, where he is still raw but the talent is there and he has the workrate
  9. Yes especially with Cerra having moved on. Personally I think the difference is they are still looking for that key forward which is why they are leaning towards Amiss. Erasmus impacts the scoreboard more than Johnson or IMO that is why the phantom drafts are compiled that way. Alternatively do they take both Erasmus and Johnson with those picks and use pick 20 to take a tall in Van Rooyen or Williams. Although if he’s available with our first pick can’t see us not taking Can Rooyen
  10. Can’t see Freo not taking Erasmus or Amiss with their first pick
  11. Swans couldn’t afford to keep Mumford because of Buddy’s wage
  12. Good day for Pennant, backed the winner and had 2, 3, 4 & 24 in a box trifecta. 2021 has been very kind
  13. But they both had significant impact on the outcome of games for their respective sides and one a hell of a lot cheaper than the other
  14. Maybe give him #2 so he can set his own path, but having seen him play he’s got the work rate and desire of his father, which Chunk also displayed
  15. There’s a flashback for me OSH, never a more appropriate name for a beer. Horrible stuff got a pint of it once OD and couldn’t finish it
  16. Busslinger is a very good player
  17. He’s rated extremely high, easy to see why good size who plays through the middle and is a good user of the ball, which isn’t common for a player of his size. He has strength in congestion and can hit the scoreboard. He’s going in the first dozen picks for mine and the only thing I see him not going to Freo is they IMO will take Erasmus and possibly Amiss with 6 and 8. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if they took Johnson and Erasmus and backed Van Rooyen or Jack Williams to be available with their 3rd pick
  18. WA up narrowly in the 17s at halftime, been very inaccurate 3.7 -25 to 3.1-19
  19. And his father Shane, plus Darren Bennett another
  20. He’s very much on Freos radar along with Erasmus
  21. I watched Arthur play PSA this season very exciting footballer with great acceleration. His parents are nice people and really supportive of him, and IMO they have produced a very rounded young man. He’s a fantastic kid, who is a leader at Wesley College and a mentor to the indigenous boys at the school. They run a fantastic programme at the school for the indigenous boys. Comes from Mt Barker (Jimmy and Phil Krakouer’s hometown) and will be a good get for some club as he’s got a lot to give a club not just infield
  22. It was, first final played out of Victoria was 1991 at Subi West Coast vs Hawthorn
  23. Not sure really, putting it down to the talk for the last few years leading into this draft, that it was very much a midfielders draft, there’s a lot of risk with the KPT from WA, I don’t see a McDonald or a Grainger Barrass in the WA crop this year, but there’s still some potential high rewards for taking risks. With Jye Amiss, he is very raw and only came up from the country this year, so doesn’t have a lot of exposed form up until this season. Did he kick bags because he’s bigger than his opponent and how will he go against stronger opponents at the next level, he’s high risk, but he does convert. I really like Van Rooyen, he’s played a lot of school footy this year and started the season really well at Colts level, but once PSA started he dropped off the experts radar a bit, but don’t think that would have impacted recruiters thoughts on him. He’s not super tall but that adds IMO to his tools as he can play forward, back and be given short stints on the ball. I reckon whoever drafts him will develop him as a defender first Bazzo good lock down key defender who just does his job, Dylan Grimes type no X factor but reliable and whilst not high up the boards someone’s getting a 200 game player. Cripps and Sprigg are the 2 ruckman who are late developers, which is why they are not high on the boards, Cripps had an injury riddled 2020 and Sprigg really shot up late 2020
