I like this kid. He's got some real scope. Always a difficult decision to leave a club that's on the brink of premiership success. Fringe player or not. He's a young bloke, so we should definitely be interested.

We were better off as soon as Mitch Clark stepped into the club - draft picks aside. If we had have kept Scully we certainly wouldn't have had the cabbage for Mitch and the extra room in the cap we'll need at the end of this year.

Agree that Koby Stevens would be a good get. Eagles supporters I know rated him as someone that might have replaced LeCras after doing his knee early this year. Sort of begs the question why he hasn't.

One AFL pre-season under his belt, has played every game, many of them quite well and never a sub. The poor bloke is knackered and needs a spell. Hopefully the bye will be enough but I feel pretty confident that after a year and two pre-seasons he will be very handy.

I'm still choking on my corn flakes over that 3 year contract. I guess the free agency trumped the club in that regard. Either let him go and get nothing, or keep and hope for improvement. The extra $'s might've come in handy though if he did leave.... Makes you think the Coach is not overly optimistic about our ruck stocks going forward...
