Heard him speak in Perth and his over-use of business speak was cringeworthy imo. I think he's read too many books and needs an opportunity to put it into action. Whether he gets that opportunity with a decent CEO to report in to remains to be seen. He certainly has the drive to do well and you have to admire that. From what I've read though it would appear that Geoff Walsh has more runs on the board.

Ron, when all of those players you've mentioned above have had as many chances as Colin has had then you have an argument. That's the glaring difference in my opinion, and I will stress that it is just my opinion. But there's other variables: - Lacks on field leadership - Questionable off field conduct - Consistency has improved but hardly impacts given his 'lauded' skills and ability - Never had a leadership role in the team I appreciate the fact that Roos wants him to stay and I hope that's because he recognises how to extract the most from Colin.

Two first year mature age draftees finished ahead of him in the Bluey. That says it all for me. Let him go and use the funds on other players hopefully in the FA market and dip back into the mature age draftee pool. He's a pretender and I won't be concerned if he goes a single iota.
