I have to assume this is a cynical take George as his turnovers got worse in the latter block of games He actually looked 'ok' in small patches during some games but his lack of.penetratiom and inability to kick goals is a major weakness. Also as a small HHF or winger covering for Windsor he doesn't bring much pressure when we don't have the ball. This last part killed us in general this season. We were a terrible pressure team for the most part, only making the AFL average of 180 on a few occasions. You look at GWS & Sydney's pressure levels in the last quarter of their final GWS off the charts at 227! Yet just pipped by Sydney if you can believe it at 232 We were a mile off these teams at their best this season in this regard. Billings and the likes of McAdam (when he played) great examples of who you don't want in your team going forward IF they can't find this aspect coming into 2025. Need to move them on and quickly if so and replace with better.

That's the million dollar question. Preferably someone with millions of dollars who can help get the new facility off the ground. Diamond Joe 2.0 ! 😄

This is where the MFC needs to get on the front foot and start slapping these [censored] for slander with an immediate law suit. Under Roffey & Pert we've been way too quiet in general and way too soft as a club when it comes to standing up for the players and ourselves. We should've tried to hang on to PJ for at least another 3 to 5 years. He was a mile ahead of both in terms of representing and taking the initiative with the press / communicating with members.

Take no notice of the AFL media circus NSC. Anything to make out that we are no good and have a bad culture. Hogan's been super so far. Note the Giants rarely if ever take the mark. 98% outside five to help protect / reduce Sydney's penchant to always attempt the 45 kicks into the corridor. As well as trying to protect againat the dinky short passes forward. GWS happy to give Sydney lateral short kicks or switch attemps...but ALWAYS protect the middle. Go wide if you like.. we're happy with that!

The stagnation and lack of consultation/comms with the member base on this has actually become pretty embarrassing now. Pert included. As you said they could've utilised the momentum following our success in 2021 but alas much of that appears to have been flushed down the proverbial. The boys delivered on the field and the top brass appear to have let us down since then.
