Guy Walker Retires
The MFC seems to have perpetual access to a konga line of NQR players that come onto the list, play from zero up to about 30 to 50 games or so, have zero to minor/marginal impact and then disappear into the nether nether usually due to some obscure injury or head knocks. Except of course for those that come back to sue! A few recent examples.... Harry O, Maynard, Bull Smith, Terlich, Michie, Filopovich, Johnstone, Bail, Fitzpatrick, Ben Ken, Riley, Hulett, Toumpas, Barry, Byrnes, Clarke, Clisby, Nicholson, Tapscott, Gillies, Georgiou, Rodan, Bennell, Cook, Sheahan, Williams, Lawrence, Couch, Taggert, Blease, Tynan, Strauss and Sellar etc etc. Walker another addition to that list with pretty much zero impact before being smitten by another obscure injury. KK possibly another addition in 2020.

The old saying laughter is the best medicine definately very helpful for us WWS. Glad you got a chuckle and sometimes needed at work. I'm pretty much done for the year on here other than the odd interest in relevant trade news and this thread! The dude leaving the office meeting via the window has me in stitches as it was so apt to so many boring office yawn fests i attended over the decades.

I think that was always going to be the case TK. His Manager (and his good self) would be mad not to wait. Each appearance in a final effectively ups his value somewhat, assuming he doesn't incur a significant injury or put in a horror.- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
If you don't mind me asking, in way 39?- Andrew Gaff
Sure isn't McQ. Although Kelly appears to be playing more of his time forward of centre or if he isn't his speed and agility might be getting him into more areas where he can receive more often, taking more shots. More than double on average here. Speed factor also seeing him close down on opponents a bit more often? Tackles & pressure acts are a fair way ahead of Gaff. Significantly higher clearance averages across the board. Contested and ground ball also. Gaff has him in the air a little on marks/intercepts. Gaff also wins quite well on uncontested which i wouldn't have figured. Although he is said to have an insane tank so that might explain the ability to get separation from opponent and get on the end of it. Surprisingly (for me anyway) Gaff also has Kelly well covered on disposal efficiency (73% vs 64.3%) and more importantly kicking efficiency (64.1% vs 54.3%). Would be handy if we could get a hold of their kick ratings. Either one would be a handy addition and major improvement to the list... https://m.afl.com.au/stats/stats-pro#/Compare?playerIds=CD_I295898,CD_I290801&comparisonTab=h2h- Get Don Pyke
Dear Mr Chook.... Here is the other classic stare down from another prelim from 2017. Wind the clock forward almost exactly two years to the day and one of these teams is about to play off in another prelim under the same coach and mostly made up of the same players. The other has since lost it's coach, is presently going through a full external review having missed finals and has also seen it's Captain relinquish his title and there's likely to be an exodus of disgruntled players looking to join other clubs having been impacted by a toxic club environment instituted and ticked off on by a board that remains relatively unchanged. Board pre Camp 2017: Rob Chapman (Chairman), Jim Hazel (Deputy Chairman), Bob Foord, Mark Ricciuto, Rod Jameson, Linda Fellows, Richard Fennell, Kate Ellis and Jim McDowell. Latest Board members: Rob Chapman (Chairman), Jim Hazel (Deputy Chairman), Jim McDowell, Linda Fellows, Kate Ellis, Richard Fennell, Mark Ricciuto, Rod Jameson and Kym Ryder. I'll give you one guess as to which club the latter is...- Your reaction to season 2019 in GIF or Image format

The two JLTs.. The Season... Most Seasons...- Finals Week 2
Wow i've seen some interesting assumptions and imaginings on D'land over the years DP but i have have to congratulate you on this one. It's right out there with the best!- Finals Week 2
Our last 12 seasons, bar one, have ended even quicker WWS.- Finals Week 2
Played ruck for about 20 minutes approx SK. Looking at the rest of his game he had little to no impact unfortunately.- Finals Week 2
Can't believe Fagan didn't get Martin back on until about a minute and a half to go. Was a little proppy with about 10 to go and went to the bench but you need to have your best players on the ground, especially the followers, in that last 5 minutes. Nice throw by the Circus which got the ball going forward for their winning goal.- Finals Week 2
He looks VERY ordinary at best. Another list clogger.- Finals Week 2
They kept bombing down the line to the area where the Circus had a spare. Silly strat. Then when they finally switched the ball across HB (on one occasion only in the last), they got it to a free in Robertson who instead of keeping the ball live and bouncing up to the Arc, launched it from the wing resulting in a shallow ball inside 50 which was easier defended and that was that.- Finals Week 2
The holding the ball in the middle. Complete show pony. Always wanting to be the center of attention. [censored]- Finals Week 2
Would love to have Hipwood playing for us. Weid is in a similar playing role and similar stage in his career but seems to be so far off impacting on a regular basis like this young up and comer. Reads the ball so well and great overhead. Works hard to get front position and to get separation on his opponent for the hit up.- Finals Week 2
Free kick to Cameron there in front of goal....clearly being held- Finals Week 2
Great play Cameron the the finish from the No.1 rookie...nice- Finals Week 2
No quarter given by either team....both playing socially unfriendly footy. Robertson's little back slap on Whitfield right in the small of the back where he'd just taken a hit to put him down again. Classic- Finals Week 2
Fabulous quarter... there's a few GWS players who don't like to work hard the other way too often. Hard working teams who can maintain possession reasonably well will find them out- Finals Week 2
7 needs to break the BT Bruce combo. Just woeful- Finals Week 2
Meth need some Coke- Finals Week 2
