Even when he's not here, his very name is still causing dissension. His defending the indefensible was just unbearable, but he was always at training and was often the only provider of training reports.

Thank you

One little thing. When I come back to a thread that I've been reading it goes back to the first post and I have to scroll down through posts I've read. Before the update it would always start from where I'd stopped reading. Not a major worry but annoying.

I liked the old red and blue throughout the old site. But nevertheless it looks good and thus far easy to use. Well done.

IIRC Trenners problem is his foot, not his ankle

Ankle ended my playing career. One bad break and never came good again. Hope Newton's is not too bad.

Shoddy Cheap Journalism...as usual....

I remember the daubings at CUB all those years ago - those that who can't think read the Herald, those who can't read look at the Sun. And now they're one. -
**IMPORTANT** USERNAMES V. DISPLAY NAMES **PLEASE READ**
angrydee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nope. I use my display name. Astrodee (and posts under that name ) sorta disappeared during the tea trolley disaster or whatever caused that crash some time back and we had to re register. Anyway that's my memory if it. Mind you, my forgettory is far more powerful. But bugger it, I still remember Harrison and Weideman wrecking 1958 for me. One of the reasons I want to draft his grandson is that perhaps he can make up for his grandfather's thuggery by starring in a flag for us. -

I have a username? The only reason I remember my display name is that I see it. -
Problem is he can't be listed as a 'B' rookie as he played VFL.

Why am I told I have voted in the poll when I try and view the results?

Probably one if the best exponents of the drop kick I've ever seen. Almost reached the centre circle a number of times. RIP

Sunny day. Lots of shadows at which to jump

Absolutely agree Mr Leg. Or a second rounder and Howe. He has played 100 games and has plenty of football left in him.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN KENNEDY

If Port prefer the toump to Kennedy (they could do a direct swap), why? -
THREEPEATS - WE STILL LEAD THE FIELD
angrydee replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
As one of the older brigade here, it's not ancient history. I still remember the five grand finals I attended (57-60, 64) )vividly. Probably more clearly than what I had for breakfast today. I just hope that all of you who were born after that golden era get to enjoy the same feeling. At least you've got time on your side. I doubt I'll ever get to see another one. -
Would be a star if kicking out on the full contributed to the team's success.

He seems to have matured as a player. Hope he keeps it up.

One thing I'm sure of is that Frawley won't win the Norm Smith as Lake did. Otherwise I don't really give a ff sbout him. I'm glad he's gone as he was part of the cancer that was chipping away at the club. Brayshaw will be part of the cure that will help us forget that Frawley ever existed.

Would it make any difference if the whiteboard had anything written on it?
