Jaded No More

In the past I was all for list management for the sake of picks. But no more. This club, more than picks, more than players, more than a coach, needs to learn to win. Enough with losing already. Our culture is so weak, so gutless, no amount of draft picks will help us as long as the mindset is that of losers. I hope we play to the very best of our ability from now until the end of the season. Picks will look after themselves.

I still don't get why, when we knew Terlich was not going to play, we didn't name Strauss as his replacement. Like for like in terms of positions. We had no drive out of the backline yesterday. Watching Pedersen and McDonald trying to clear the ball was about as much fun as poking your eyes out with a hot stick.

It's not common sense to lose by 120 points. End of story.

You can add crap effort to the list now too. Gone. Next.

Oh I watched it. Dunn couldn't hit a target, is a dumb footballer and gutless. His turnovers cost us numerous goals, so the fact that his opponent didn't directly kick goals on him, undoes all the good work defensively. And it goes without saying that Davey is done. But giving him the rest of the season to play before he retires, won't change anything. It's rewarding people like Dunn with game after game while Davis has been serving a 4 year sentence in the VFL, that is mind boggling. I know what I can get from Dunn, and I hate it.

Oh Jesse, you are a glimmer of hope, a nugget of pure gold floating in a puddle of horse crap. Please stay awesome forever and don't let Melbourne infect you with incompetency. It's contagious!

This club is a joke.

Not that I really give a sh!t about this season anymore, but if I see Dunn and Pedersen in the team next week, I will officially go off the rails and lose it. Two of the most pathetic, extrodinary poor footballers going around. Dunn has been screwing us for years, and Pedersen is just an enormous facepalm moment from our dearly departed Neeld. Horrendous. Time to bring in those who have been serving time in the VFL and find out if they are worth retaining. If we don't do it now, we will never know. Davis, Strauss, Jetta, just bring them in and let them play. They can't possibly do worse than lose by 120 points! P.S.- NO GILLIES!

Neil Craig won't be our next coach after last week and this week. Bad selections, bad moves, bad game plan. Effort is unquestioned. Everything else under him is still miles from being acceptable.

Smart move, but lets hope he can recover fully. I trust the club has got the best medical advice and will support him to get him right for pre season. Haven't given up on him. He is still young, and there is five to seven good years left in him if he can get his foot and his head space right. Fingers and toes crossed!

Until the club knows the future of Clark, I don't think they'll be trading any up and coming key forwards. You can never have too many talls.

He has zero endurance. Someone with his pace and skills should be playing in a wing, not up forward, but he can't breath after running 20m. If his cannot improve his aerobic capacity he won't make it. There is only so long you can carry an 8 possessions a game player.
