Agreed. We are very unlikely to make finals, but how long has it been since our season was still relevant at the halfway mark? At least there is a strong motivation to go out each week, because mathematically finals are still on the cards.

He is a gun but we need to push Sydney in the middle to have any chance of winning. Already we are carrying Viney with one hand, Trenners who hasn't played for 2 years, Tyson who was cramping in his hammys, Vanders who has been out with injury for a while, and Stretch who is a sub 20 game veteran. That is a lot of players who are not at peak condition. Against one of the oldest and most experienced midfield going around, it could really cost us.

Anyone who doesn't give Gawn top votes is having a laugh. He was singly handedly the most influential player on the ground. Killed 3 opponents, won his own ball, marked well and kicked 3 crucial goals. A giant game from a giant man!

With Tippet out we have on serious advantage going into next week, which is the ruck. Do we exploit that and bring in Spencer? Just a thought.

Fair to say if it was broken he wouldn't be on the ground. I think he was bleeding quite heavily so they did a nice strapping job on him. I think the bye is gonna be important for a lot of players. Plenty of cramping and Dyson was definitely having his hammys worked on repeatedly.
