You can't compare the difficulty of the role of OMac versus the role of Salem Being a key position defender is much harder than playing on the 6th best forward and being an attacking defender Defensively Salem is average, but offensively he is excellent Comparing the two is like comparing oranges to chickens

Of all the stupid [censored] that One Nation and Pauline Hansen stands for, the most concerning thing is her questioning of child vaccination. There was another party (the health party?), who was campaigning against vaccination. Honestly, how incredibly dumb can you be? Yes lets stop vaccinating our kids and bring back horrible preventable disease. That's just what the world needs!

Seriously anyone who doesn't think McDonald is an incredibly valuable commodity to this team, is kidding themselves. He is the only serious quality key position defender we have left on our list. Lose him, and our defence will turn into an even bigger goal-enabling machine!

Played on one of the best forwards in the comp and broke even, even tho we go our arses handed to us on a platter in some of the centre clearances. But hey, if he saved 90 kids from a burning building you'd still pot him for tripping over on the way out. As for Nate Jones getting slammed, all I can say to you is shame. Shame on all of you. Yes he made disposal errors, but he is always under pressure, always the first on the bottom of every pack, and has carried this pathetic excuse of a team for so long. Show some respect!

He is a space filler, but he fills a need we have which is speed. He is a good ordinary player and he won't be a part of the team going into the future, but he has been servicable this year, and as we all know, no team has 22 superstars.

No matter which way you voted (unless you voted One Nation, in which case please go back to 1998 and uppercut yourself!), this is a bad result for pretty much everyone. I look forward to absolutely SFA being done in parliament for the next 3 years, or however long it will take before they call yet another election. And on a side note, as someone who has gay friends and family, and cares deeply about marriage equality, I also look forward to yet another government doing the wrong thing and not allowing same sex couples to get married. Hooray for being the last remaining English speaking 1st world country to still be so damn backwards and not view love as a universal right for all people!

Said the same thing during the game. Dunn started his career as a forward. Yes he isn't a great player, he won't be a world beater, but for god's sake at least he can take a mark, and he isn't slower than Dawes and his rucking ability is probably about as good (Dawes rucked twice today, and gave away 1 free kick- great success!). We have to find a replacement for Dawes, because seriously he is a liability. He isn't why we lost today, but by god he is a big reason and one that should be easier to replace that Tom McDonald's brain.

Super furious about this loss because it was a game we lost as opposed to Adelaide winning. I know that young teams make mistakes but half a season in and we are still overusing the footy and we are still p!ss poor defensively when we lose possession. I thought our small forwards and Watts were good but Dawes is a liability and Hogan is a primadonna. Both were woeful defensively and both suffered a strong case of butter hands. On the other side Adelaide marked everything coming in, often uncontested as every defender in our team seems to be more interested in attacking than defending. I know this is all part of a learning game plan, but we just pulled curtains on our season because we just have not learnt from previous mistakes. Also can we please play Petracca on the ball more often?

Seems to work pretty well for Dawes and Hogan in getting regular games. Every player makes mistakes. We lost that game because we collectively sucked in the last quarter. We failed miserably defensively as we have on many occasion this year.

As I said, win clearances, win game. That quarter we dominated the centre clearances and it showed. I love Hunt. He is a gun!!!

Mark my words, Jayden Hunt will be a star!

Too man passengers. Getting slaughtered in the clearances. Dumb overuse of the footy again. Not manning up. Getting smashed defensively again. Lucky to be just 3 goals down. I'm thinking this could get real ugly real quick unless we start dominating the clearances, which I can't see happening against such a formidable midfield.

Dawes... I can't even!

Pretty peeved that Jones gets a game ahead of Grimes. Poor Grimes.
