GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
We will win max 4 games for the rest of the year. We are a disgraceful football team.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
We are shambles. Completely dropped off in the clearances and our backline went to water under the relentless pressure. We are in real trouble. We have not kicked a decent score once this year and we don’t look like coming close to it. We are lucky they missed a few shots. But regardless this game looks over unless we start finding some avenues to goal.

Any chance Trac will ever stand up in a critical time? He has done SFA

Credit to Goodwin for trying some kooky [censored] [censored]. I am here for it! Would love anyone in this team to hit a target this year.

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Really concerning for both AVB and KK. Will either play again this year? Ever?

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I’m just sad that we’ve had such a good run of prime time games and free to air exposure and we have totally stunk it up!

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Oh and Goodwin will never have the guts to drop Lewis just like he will never drop Hibbo or TMac who are both barely going. I suppose when the cupboard is bare you gotta make do with what you have.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Going tomorrow feels like an actual chore. I’ve lost all interest. Neal Bullen and Tim Smith in for us. Jack Reiwoldt in for Tigers. Life is so great when you’re a Melbourne supporter!

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
To think I paid for a friggin seat upgrade (because I don’t pay enough for my premium membership!) for this rubbish I am about to witness. First game of the season I am dragging my fiancé to. We always win when he comes to games, but not even his lucky voodoo can help this train wreck of a club at the moment. Add the pain of no trains and it’s going to be one long night

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
God I wish Roos still wanted to be a senior coach. This club is a shambles that has been held together by the glue that was Jackson and Roos. Both are gone now and it feels like we are slowly slipping back to our old pathetic ways.

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Pretty typical Melbourne really. Make a prelim and think “flag is in the bag I’ll go get wasted and fat in the pre season”. Our players are a pack of lazy amateurs if this is true. Jesus this club will never be successful will it? It’s just an endless cycle of misery and failure.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yep this season is over already. We can shuffle things around, but our game plan and form, combined with our injuries to key backline players means we can’t make finals, let alone win finals. As by the time we resolve these problems the seasons will be too far gone.

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Completely agreed. A 27 year old going to a new club turning up unfit to pre season is [censored] inexcusable

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Hard to put any faith in a coach who plays his two slowest and oldest players on the wings of the MCG against any team, let alone and quick one. What possible logic is behind this coaching move?

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 5
Shocked Salem isn’t leading the charts. He has been our only consistent performer this year and is the only real improver this season. Plus he hits a goddamn target every time.

Post Game: Rd 5 v St. Kilda
Also can we talk about why Hibbo was kept on Membery for the entire game when he was tearing him a new one? No issues dropping OMac but Hibbo is so out of form and was getting dismantled by an average forward. Seems Goodwin won’t drop his bestie from Essendon no matter how badly he is playing. Meantime Stretch can’t get more than one game, because we had to rush an underdone Lewis back to stink it up on the wing.

Post Game: Rd 5 v St. Kilda
And I think we have been hurt more than most by lack of runners this year. We are a young team and we lack leadership. To not have runners able to freely communicate moves has really added to our confusion and overall disorganization. I sit near the bench and my god the players can’t even organize themselves to rotate properly. I watched Frost run from FB to the bench yesterday only to be told to go back there.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Lewis has one thing going for him, his leadership. I thought we would bring him back to help organize the backline, which is made up of mostly young inexperienced players and out of form players. Instead we bring him to play on the wing. He who can barely run, can no longer kick, refuses to tackle or run defensively. He is underdone and they played him on the wing. I have no words for the stupidity. He needs to retire but until that time he needs to play in a position where he can influence without hurting us with his lack of pace. The wing is NOT his position.

Post Game: Rd 5 v St. Kilda
His kicking, not just for goal, is very ordinary. That after 6 (?) years in the system he still hasn’t got the tank to play midfield is also a real letdown. Imagine him on the wing instead of Lewis *groan* Superb. What an absolute fail. I just can’t believe (or can I?) that it’s season over in round 5. Again. How is this possible? Our coaching and structures are deplorable. Goodwin seems completely lost and his players don’t look much better. Who came up with the idiotic idea of playing Lewis on the wing? Our backline is crumbling and Lewis is playing wing? Salem is the only player this year who has improved. The rest have gone backwards to the point where some of them should not be playing. Hibbo and TMac at the top of that list. Combine that with a good handful of very ordinary list fillers currently covering for May, AVB, Lever and May and you have the sort of embarrassing performance we have seen so far this season. Goodwin has never been someone I felt confidence in and I maintain he should not have got an extension so early. He has to work out things and do it fast because this club cannot survive another 4 years of losing.

They have to drop Hibbo. He is [censored] woeful.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs St Kilda
Goodwin with zero answers. Our season is done with this loss and they came out after half time limp as impotent [censored] like we could not care less.

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs St Kilda
How we signed him for another 4 years without even giving him half a season to prove last year wasn’t a fluke, I will never know. Another season down the toilet.
