It was pretty noisy and my voice was totally gone by quarter time. I wasted it all telling Nicholls what a total dick he is. So apparently only 10,000 MFC members have priority 1 memberships (myself included!), and the club will get 20,000 tickets allocated, so priority 2 members have a decent chance of getting a seat. I would tell everyone to get an upgraded membership next year, but honestly, I don't want to be fighting it out with more people for a good GF ticket... so stay as you are

I would think that if you are in Priority 1, you get drawn out of the ballot before priority 2/3 and therefore are more likely to get allocated better seats? I mean look I don't care where I sit, but surely if you've forked out money for a priority 1 membership, you won't end up in crappier seats than someone who got picked from priority 2 group?

This is getting a little confusing. @Demonland any chance you can get someone from the membership/ticketing department on the podcast this week to answer our endless questions? Might not be needed this year, but for future years....

Bloody hell am I happy now I've paid so much money for guaranteed seating. It was and still is a long shot, but worth saving me the angst of wondering if I won't be able to go. I wonder how much more they'll charge for this type of membership next year...

I completely agree with this change. Smith was good at Casey under pressure and it’s some awful conditions. A dry warm day will suit his skills even better. He isn’t a world beater but he helps us have some extra speed both off half back and by allowing Fritsch to play up the ground. Tyson on a wing is not an experiment that has worked. We already give up pace when Jones plays wing. We need some more leg speed against WC who love to run forward of the ball and give their gun forwards first use of the footy.

He played out the game. No chance he would have come back on if there was any doubt about his hammy given his history with them. We are totally screwed if he misses. Has been excellent the last 2 weeks.

I don’t think we were [censored]. We were playing against a good team with an excellent coach. They were absolutely playing the game on their terms and I expected nothing else from Clarkson. What impressed me more this week than last week, is that we wrestled back momentum multiple times and found a way to win and win well in the end. That is worth a lot for a young team. Having said that, next week is a different ball game. Each game will get harder and the challenge greater. We did beat West Coast just 4 weeks ago, but with Kennedy and Darling its a different proposition. We will need to be better at the contested ball to ensure we limit their forward supply.

My heart bleeds for Bernie. Came to us when we sucked balls and now most likely won’t get to enjoy it. Sad.

Meh. We’ve already overachieved this season. To beat our two biggest “bogie” teams in finals was a massive achievement. Yes we didn’t play great, but to win without playing great, is a sign of greatness. Richmond beat Hawks by 31 points and are flag favorites. We beat them by 33 points and are going backwards. Cool logic.

Hmmm I didn’t think about that. You’re right. It’s hard because I don’t want a stadium full of filthy booing West Coast turds, but I don’t pay $700 a year for some [censored] to steal my GF tickets.
